“After hiking Moana Falls, hubby and I needed some coffee. Saw this spot on Yelp and was rated well and I wanted to see why. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman and he talked to us about how they make their own unsweetened organic almond milk (which is not the norm at coffee spots!). Ordered 2 iced lattes with almond milk (extra charge for that) and a lilikoi bar. Almond milk was nice and creamy in the latte and the coffee itself was strong. Lilikoi bar was pretty tasty. I would recommend coming here to support this local business!“

Bistro A Un Bistros • $$

“First time trying this restaurant since the pics looked so good on IG and we absolutely loved visiting Osaka!! We were able to get 7:30pm reservations on a Weds, but it wasn't too crowded when we got there early. Our server Mike was very kind and helpful. We ordered hot teas with lemon and water. Started out with Sashimi 3 set; Salmon, Hamachi, and Ahi. I was so impressed with the cut of Hamachi! My fav! It was fresh and a generous size. Next we each had Udon. The thin noodles were delish with seaweed and tempura flakes. The Grilled Sausage was a nice presentation with side bean sprouts. Very nicely done. The Grilled Avocado was also very good with the sashimi sauce. Last entree was the Okonomiyaki with Shrimp!! Beautifully made and great flavor! This is why I decided to try this place out! I love the time I had Okonomiyaki in Osaka, Japan... it was the BEST, but this was still very good! I give this 2nd best in my book! We topped it off with Yuzu sorbet. Light and refreshing. Overall, excellent dining experience! Mahalo!“

Waikiki Beachside Bistro Bistros • $$

“If you're lounging in Kuhio Beach in Waikiki Bay and in need of a snack it doesn't get much more convenient than Waikiki Beachside Bistro. Is the food a little overpriced? Sure, but you're likely in Hawaii on Vacation so go ahead and throw $20 at a Pineapple smoothie. It adds to vacation experience. The pulled pork nachos hit the spot. The pork was tender and juicy and the toppings really created rich flavor with each bite. The jalapeños were especially hot and provided a satisfying snap during each bite. Definitely try this spot if you're in the area.“

“All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful when deciding what to eat. We got the Salmon Picatta and the Lasagna (which wasn’t on the menu but was instead recommended); both were absolutely delicious.
