“Found this little gem our last night in Honolulu January 20, 2024. A.T. the manager made it happen last minute for a table of 9 before we were heading back to Alaska. He was such an amazing host. The food was fantastic! When my 85 yr old mom likes the food… that says A LOT!! Will for sure return again!! Definitely recommend!!!“
“One of the best stops at the local farmers markets. Their salsas are incredible, but sadly they don't sell them all at the markets. They usually have their pineapple and their original available, which are both good. If you order online, they have a ton of really interesting, delicious flavors. If you're at the market and looking for breakfast, their breakfast burritos and bowls are always awesome and filling!“
“well-priced food and great atmosphere. the ingredients were fresh and authentic, fast service, and there was no wait to getting seated. you have to get the jarritos drink. also, parking can be a bit challenging because it is on a busy intersection and limited space.“
“Tried almost all mexican food establishments in honolulu and Mexican restaurant is by far the best so far. All dishes served are just packed and juicy with flavor! Very generous portion. Good quality ingredients. Beautiful Mexican decor which gives you an authentic Mexican atmosphere. Delicious! Prices are affordable. Generous parking are available. Nice! Go there.“
“I worked as a dishwasher there a couple of weeks and the time I was there all the staff had great energy, lovely to be around, Managers included, the guys training me were efficient with making sure that those dishes were clean, we're safe Hawaii! Aloha and Mahalo??????“
“So this place is super close to my condo so I asked my two friends if they'd like to check it out. Oahu is just generally so behind when it comes to quality Mexican food but I had high hopes. Anyway, ordered the three tacos with beans and rice. Two shredded beef and one chicken. The shredded beef tacos were on point, really delicious. The chicken taco was good but not quite as good as the beef. Whole pinto beans, very tasty. Sadly the rice wasn't so good, definitely lacking flavor but mixed with the beans okay. Overall, I was surprised. I've eaten Mexican food all over California, LA, San Diego etc and this was good. The tall guy taking orders I think could have been a bit friendlier, he seemed a little annoyed by some questions I had about the menu. So that and the rice knocked my rating from 5 to 4“
