Food was good quality and decent. I was expecting a bit more of an Asian flavour. Service was super friendly but I gave it a 3/5 because we had four people dining and all our meals came at different times. My meal came after the first person finished. It didn’t look too busy. Atmosphere is great. Good vibe.
Great experience! Great food! Nachos were so good they where gone before I could get a picture! Everything we had was amazing. Originally had reservations for 2 but that turned into 6 and they were able to accommodate us. Very chill and away from the crazy busy downtown. Waiter was also so funny and played into our jokes! Highly recommend a chill night off the main strip to support locals! We also had the loco moco. Loved how it was served! Stayed hot the entire time!

Genius Lounge – Hawaiian & Japanese Dining is a hidden gem in Waikīkī with a great rooftop atmosphere. The food was better than expected, with unique dishes like tempura sushi rolls w/ pico, furikake ahi tuna, Hawaiian Ribeye, chicken nanban, and shrimp dynamite. The oyster shooter and Loco moco were also tried. The drinks were solid, especially the Iichiko BLU cocktail, and there is an extensive drink menu with a large selection of sake. The staff was friendly, super helpful, and made guests feel welcome. The menu is reasonably priced for the area with a decent happy hour. Perfect for an intimate dinner or groups sharing dishes. Guests would come back again.
