“I have a mcdonald's location just 3 mins away from my house but even tho this location is slightly farther, i always only go to this dillingham location instead. The food and service is always better, the one at kamshopping everyone there is so rude and my food is never fresh or made correctly. Today, I went to mcdonald's to pick up a mobile order but my app didn't go through but it took away my points for 6000 for a happy meal. So i went inside to confirm if they got an order they said no and I told them but it took away my 6000 pts. At the same time, this homeless man was being rude and throwing his ice water to the female employees and I told the manager it's okay don't worry about it because I know it's not their fault, it's the app's fault. Even tho so much was going on the filipino manager Roseann (i don't know if i spelled it right) went out of her way and stayed professional to help me even if ice water was being thrown at her and mean words were being thrown in her face by the homeless man. She gave me my happy meal for free and even said sorry even if it wasn't her fault to begin with. It must have been the app itself. But super impressed with how nice she was and professional despite the chaos and even if I told her it's okay if my order didn't go through but she made my food anyway :)“
“Great service and very friendly staff. The restaurant is also really clean and there is always someone at the front to take orders. Sometimes the wait in the drive thru is long but that's because it's during peak times so it is understandable. But even with the wait, they still move quicker than the other ones I go to.“
“This is a fantastic location. Workers English or hearing seemed off, AI will be easier to communicate with in the future. Please teach your workers to be less wasteful, McD -- there is no need to put a brand new lid on a refill. Workers don't seem to be enjoying their lives or customers-- are they getting paid enough? “Lunch for my niece in Honolulu, Hawaii...I saw that the annual Halloween buckets just arrived, so I went to the nearest McDonald's to get a Happy Meal. This location on Nimitz Highway is easy to spot. It has a drive-through and is two-stories tall. I entered the relatively clean restaurant, stood in the pleasantly air-conditioned environment, and ordered on the app.The Happy Meal comes with two small sides. I selected the sliced apples as the other side to the extra small French Fries. Even though the app makes the customer choose a beverage, an empty cup is given - so the customer fills the cup with whatever soft drink anyway. I didn't know what kind of sauce my niece wanted with her Chicken McNuggets - she said she was fine with anything. I also didn't know that she preferred Sprite. Oh, well... now I know!...and she let me keep the green Halloween bucket! LOL! Other locations will have the orange, white, or purple buckets - for trick-or-treating... or knick knacks! Have a safe and fun holiday season!“
“Convenient location. Usually not too crowded so you can sit and eat in. There are occasional issues with the machines where you order at, but not as bad as other McDonalds locations.Parking: Convenient - plenty of parking, parking spots are roomy, and can access from both sides.“
“I visited around 9am for breakfast.It was quite crowded when we arrived, but as time went on, the number of people decreased.You can order using the touch panel, so you can choose slowly and conveniently.I bought a set of egg biscuits, a drink, and hash browns.It was great to be able to try something not found in Japan, and the quantity was just right.“
“Nice location with modern interior (continuous bench seats, movable faux leather stools, graphic designed glass and walls). The food was delivered quick after sending it in via app and well prepared. The location was not super crowded inside on Wednesday after lunch, but the drive-thru was busy. Staff was friendly. located inside a very crowded and busy area adjacent to Kahala mall. I can see where parking would be an issue with all the other eateries nearby. Note that there is no self-service drink station and that the staff needs to serve you. Mens bathroom looked modern with air dryers and automatic soap and water system. no paper towels, though. The bathroom smelled like urine as it looked like someone urinated on the floor, so it may have just been my timing, but the bathroom could use a little more TLC.Parking: 4 spots for curbside and drive thru pick up. at least 1 handicap stall, which were all in front of the restaurant.“
“The search for Happy Meal toys in Honolulu, Hawaii...My friend, Donna O., said that this Moiliili location of McDonald's still had a few toys from the 100th Anniversary of Disney series. I rushed over and just got toys #11 and #12. That's better than nothing. This promotion started on 10-31-23. I started too late. I have less than half of the 31 sets of toys. That's ok. I'm over it!LOL!I like this McDonald's because the parking lot seems spacious with wide lanes for traffic to flow in a U-shaped pattern... one way in, and one way out.Service was helpful and efficient! The interior was clean! There's a self-service beverage area!Another bonus about this location is that I met Jackie K. - for the first time - here! She's better in real life! “School Street McDonald’s is special to me, I think they hire people with a lot of aloha! I mean very kind, helpful employees. I’ve lived in Liliha for 5 years and they’re consistently kind. I’ve never had any issues w/ my orders either. No mistakes. My favs are the Guava Cream Pie & Haupia Pie! In moderation of course! When I first arrived to the island I took my daughter to this McDonald’s after enrolling her at Princess Victoria Elementary and a local lady approached us and gave my daughter a $20 McDonald’s gift card. I was so surprised and she said “just cause.” That was just one of my many encounters with Aloha. I’ve been randomly doing the same and more since then. Another special thing about this McDonald’s location is that for a few years they gave out long stem red roses on Mothers Day, now that’s what I call aloha! One more thing, Don’t mind the homeless, just help them… buy a coffee or a burger and bless them. Enjoy everyone! Aloha!“
“Who doesn't love McDonald's?¿?... I always stop by a McDonald's if I see one. My Service ? dog also loves it there and her favorite of course is the Chicken nuggets. My favorite is the Mcteri Burger but the only problem with this one is that it only comes out every 6 months. I don't understand why because so many people love the Mcteri Burger. I also think people should try their assorted coffees like, frappe and iced coffees. I only really have one gripe. When did their prices get so high?¿?... It used to be so cheap to eat there, yes they have a App now with discounts and specials but it still somehow cost a lot more than a few years ago...Wheelchair accessibility: I am pretty sure almost all of not all have wheelchair accessibility. But not all have parking like Fort Street Mall. So down there are mostly business workers or people who are shopping in the area but they are always busy.“

LOL...Well, currently, the Happy Meal toys are 31 sets of two Disney characters in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Disney!My friend wanted the Gamora toy, and I wanted #31. (I'm late in the game, so I missed Mickey Mouse and Mulan... shucks!)I called around the Aiea area of Oahu because we were on that side of the island. The person who answered the phone was very helpful! They had both toy sets at the Vaulkenburg Street location! Yippee!My friend was a bit afraid because she had never been in this part of town before. That's ok, I reassured her ... I just use GPS...It was dark, but we found a free parking space right in front of McDonald's. There were some customers in front of us, so I ordered on the app. We just had to check on our toy numbers when we received our meals.The first thing I noticed was that the box was an older version. It wasn't the 100th Disney Anniversary box. That's ok. However, I also noticed that I didn't get my dipping sauce! I went to the counter, and the manager was going to charge me 16 cents for a sauce! He thought I wanted an extra when I didn't receive any sauce! He finally gave the sauce to me for free! Whew!We were happy with our late dinner! We didn't even need dessert! Yay!We were grateful for the self-service beverage dispenser... we filled our extra-small sized cups again!“

“the employee accepted pouring the coffee into my metal mug after I explained that the disposable cups are lined with POLYETHYLENE which irritates the gut lining. the oily shine on top of the coffee is residue of the polyethylene lining (which prevents the cardboard cup from melting).The coffee at this McD smells better than the Hawaii Kai McD, probably because it was recently renovated.THANK YOU for creating less trash in the world (and in my body) by pouring the coffee into my own mug/cup.I appreciate that the workers here understand English. It is nice not having to repeat myself 3 times like I had to at the Hawaii Kai McD.“
