“I am foodie from Japan, enjoy once or twice a month hotel buffet in Tokyo. But Orchids Sunday branch menu was the best ever. Not only does it taste good, but it also tastes good, fine scenery, number and placement of staff and their diligence noteworthy.“

“Another nice lunch at Ruscello! We arrived a couple minutes early and had zero wait time. I requested an indoor table by the makai windows and that's where we were seated. It's a little noisy inside but it's always like that when it's busy. It wasn't a problem for us however if it's a problem you can opt to sit on the lanai. Our sandwiches (turkey avocado club, French dip) came out quickly, they were generously filled and delicious.“

“Visited twice in a span of 3 days. I live 30mins away and it’s the most authentic halal food I’ve had on the island yet. It’s nothing like the belgian or NY street halal variety. Food came out hot and fresh. They hand it to you on the street. If you’re looking for real authentic halal food from the middle east, this is the place.“

“Ordered 2 of their Gyro Sandwiches for take-out. The staff is very friendly and my order didn't take long. This location is hidden away in an alley inside a food outlet of some sort. I waited roughly around 10 minutes for my order, and honestly, waiting that long anywhere in Waikiki is not long. So I am very happy about that.

I took my order home for me and my husband, and when I unwrapped the sandwich, oh man, this sandwich looked so good! I couldn't wait to eat it! The freshness of the tomato and lettuce with the toasted meat inside and the sauce, THE SAUCE!!! It is amazingly delicious! I'm going again tomorrow for sure!“

“Leo's Taverna is located right on Bishop street, so parking isn't the easiest but you can pull up, order, and then drive off or find parking nearby. They are a Greek food specialist with a lot of choices including rotisserie chickens, kebabs, hummus, fish, and vegetarian options. Owned by a proper Greek family runs the place, and are very friendly should you strike up a conversation.“

“Olive Tree Cafe is amazing! This counter-service restaurant offers delicious, high-quality, and affordable food! I was extremely impressed! The appetizers we ordered were all $7.99 or less, and the mussel ceviche stood out the most. It came with six pieces and was absolutely delicious. Oh, and don’t get me started on the feta! Definitely order extra slices—at least one per person. You won’t regret it.

For my entrée, I had the organic chicken souvlaki, which was moist and juicy. You can order it as a pita or a salad, and if you choose the pita, it comes with a side salad. We finished with the baklava, which was perfectly flaky and nutty with just the right amount of sweetness.

Did I mention it’s BYOB? Bring your favorite bottle of wine and enjoy a glass while you wait for your food—it makes the experience even better! Olive Tree Cafe is a great spot for a girls’ night out, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and even a parking lot. The service is friendly and welcoming. I’m already looking forward to my next visit with friends to share another meal here!“
