“We just came back to the US after a long trip to Europe and Asia so we decided to go back to Yardhouse for their happy hour. We ordered our usual poke nachos with Tomato bisque. We dunk our nachos on the bisque and it’s the best ever snack! I also ordered their chicken wrap, also good the chicken was well seasoned and tender. We ate at the bar area outside. The inside looked a little dark and dated not really very inviting for eating. But our food is great and our server is very friendly!“

“The best luau we have ever been too. Very glad we brought the kids and grandkids. There was plenty of things to do, like temporary tattoos, head bands made from leaves, small shops all over the grounds with various foods and products. Teaching the kids to hula was quite fun. The food was good as were the drinks. The show was outstanding. All the performers were available for photographs after the show. Overall an excellent time...“

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the duck Wellington because, as I understood, it had to be requested when booking the table. But we’ll definitely come back to try that dish too 😊“

“Relaxed, casual, and full of local charm, Cutlery Steakhouse gives cozy neighborhood steakhouse vibes with just the right touch of romance from the dim, moody lighting. It’s perfect for a special occasion without feeling overly formal.

Parking is very small and tight, so be prepared. I was lucky enough to squeeze my Tacoma along the parallel wall and carefully reverse out with guidance from the friendly parking lot staff (major clutch moment 😅).

We also loved the surprise of the light-up menu, we actually laughed because it was the only bright thing in the room. Such a fun little touch that totally fits the dark, intimate ambiance.

Service was great. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and consistently checked on us for refills or anything we needed. She explained the 2-hour dining limit upfront and let us know the main entrée would take about 45 minutes. We had no issues and finished right on time without feeling rushed.

Don’t skip the sides: duck fat fries, truffle mash, Brussels sprouts, and a generous escargot perfect for sharing. The 16oz Nakamura Cut Prime Rib with bone marrow au jus and horseradish cream was juicy, flavorful, and easily fed two, and the leftovers were just as good the next day.

And dessert? Non-negotiable. Mud pie with Oreo crust and two crème brûlées… because one is simply not enough. 🤎✨“

“We opted out of our reservation for the dining room and ate in the bar. Didn't catch the bartender's name but she was wonderful. The Mai Tai was great and our food was delicious. It was a thoroughly enjoyable meal.“

“First of all, this is not our first visit here for me and my husband. But this time we had our 2 kids with us. We walked in on a Father’s Day weekend on a Saturday, expecting no tables for a family of 4. They were able to sit us by the bar. And it was amazing, the food is great we had the MEGAHAWK, oysters, thick-cut bacon, keiki steak plate and very refreshing watermelon sorbet. “While visiting Hawaiʻi, I found myself coming back here every day for lunch—and for good reason. The steak plate with rice and kimchee was absolutely incredible. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly every time. The rice was fresh and paired perfectly with the savory steak, while the kimchee added just the right amount of kick and balance to the meal. Great prices too.“

“Our server, Austin did an amazing job from the moment we were seated to the final dessert course. His recommendation of the lobster bisque was excellent. The avocado & grilled shrimp salad was an excellent choice as well. As for the fish & chips, the fries were soggy and cold, fish was somewhat overdone. He highly recommend the cheesecake and keylime pie which were both wonderful choices. The open dining area where we were seated was very warm and made dining somewhat uncomfortable. Austin's great service made up for that and he apologized that the AC was not working properly.“
