“Friendly service and great food“

“Been to several of these places, but first time to this one. Almara was great getting us seated and settled, but after that just average service from the folks bringing the meats. Had to wait as others were helped and servers walked by our table with full skewers of meat. Food was decent, but not as good as some of the Brazillian steak houses we have been to on the mainland.“

“The Tomahawk steak is outstanding. No need to ruin it with A1 sauce. The stuffed chicken breast was not dry, so tasty. Everything is ala carte but totally worth it. Would go again“

“What an exceptionally wonderful place for ambience, service and food. The staff were so friendly and attentive, our sever went above and beyond to be professional and friendly. The food - steak and salad with sides was excellent. The live music - guitarist/singer was also so good and created a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant.“

“This place is so good! We are visiting from Arizona and I would eat at this place every time I come back. Priced right, made fresh, flavors are perfect. I had the Wago Loco Moco and my husband had the Steak Plate (Large). Absolutely loved wonderful. We leave in 5 days and we will be back before we head home.“

“We had a very short wait to be seated. The staff was friendly and worked together well to deliver our food and drinks. We started our meal with the spinach and cheese dip(I forgot to take a photo) I had the Ahi Tuna salad. My husband ordered the pork chop. Both entrees were scrumptious. We left nothing on the plates. “We opted out of our reservation for the dining room and ate in the bar. Didn't catch the bartender's name but she was wonderful. The Mai Tai was great and our food was delicious. It was a thoroughly enjoyable meal.“

“Great experience. Be sure to order the Bartender Chooses drinks as we had 4 awesome custom drinks. Server was on point and food was delicious. It is a small open air restaurant so we enjoyed the ambiance. These types of places allow you to converse with the staff so of course we talked with the Bartendar about his drinks and music selections with it. Would recommend for small parties.“

“We really loved the dishes, especially the foie gras, raviolone, and scallops, but honestly everything we tried at this restaurant was delicious. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the duck Wellington because, as I understood, it had to be requested when booking the table. But we’ll definitely come back to try that dish too 😊“

“Dinner felt like a really unique and special experience at The Cutlery. Service was excellent, outdoor seating and ambience was on point, and our food was fantastic - better than anticipated. The smoked meat appetizer was incredible, the prime ribeye had a unique and smoky flavor (very different than typical prime rib flavor profile), and the sides were excellent. Brussels sprouts, corn, white rice, and duck fat fries - all delicious, no notes. Will definitely be back next time we are on Oahu. This was probably our favorite meal of our entire two weeks on Oahu.“

“First of all, this is not our first visit here for me and my husband. But this time we had our 2 kids with us. We walked in on a Father’s Day weekend on a Saturday, expecting no tables for a family of 4. They were able to sit us by the bar. And it was amazing, the food is great we had the MEGAHAWK, oysters, thick-cut bacon, keiki steak plate and very refreshing watermelon sorbet. Willian and Brian were friendly and superb with their service. As always we will be back again soon. THE STEAK IS NOT A MISTAKE ON THIS ONE!!! 👍🏼💯✅- R.C.“

“While visiting Hawaiʻi, I found myself coming back here every day for lunch—and for good reason. The steak plate with rice and kimchee was absolutely incredible. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly every time. The rice was fresh and paired perfectly with the savory steak, while the kimchee added just the right amount of kick and balance to the meal. Great prices too.“

“Dinner at Wolfgang's Lanai was a wonderful experience for our family of four visiting from Japan. We ordered the Garlic Shrimp, Fried Calamari, Loco Moco, and Taste of New York, and everything was delicious. It was also reassuring to know that there was Japanese-speaking staff available.
