“My husband and I immensely enjoyed coming here! We came on a Thursday night and it wasn't too busy. We were greeted right away and sat at a table. Our server Gueda was very attentive and took great care of us! We also had another person come by and check on us several times to make sure we were good. The various meat selections were great, and they kept coming by our table the whole time we were there. We got caiparinhas and they came in different flavors. I'm not a big meat eater, so I just had the all you can eat salad bar which was more than enough. We would come again and we highly recommend it!“

​To start, the service and atmosphere here were absolutely fantastic,our waiter was incredibly prompt and kind throughout the entire meal.
​As for the food, it was overall quite good, though there were a few mixed reviews at our table. The jambalaya was a highlight with a great ratio of rice to protein, though I personally prefer the heads to be peeled on the shrimp. The nachos felt a little stale to my taste, and someone in my party mentioned that the lobster noodles weren’t cooked quite right.
​That said, everyone in our group enjoyed the experience and the rest of the food. It's a great spot, and we'd definitely come back for the excellent hospitality!“

“this place is a Crazy Rich Asian vibe and i love it. Chef Anthony and his crew were absolutely phenomenal. A family style, off-menu 9 dish dinner was delicious. i was full by dish 7 and barely had enough room for dish 9(desert).

“Relaxed, casual, and full of local charm, Cutlery Steakhouse gives cozy neighborhood steakhouse vibes with just the right touch of romance from the dim, moody lighting. It’s perfect for a special occasion without feeling overly formal.

Parking is very small and tight, so be prepared. I was lucky enough to squeeze my Tacoma along the parallel wall and carefully reverse out with guidance from the friendly parking lot staff (major clutch moment 😅).

We also loved the surprise of the light-up menu, we actually laughed because it was the only bright thing in the room. Such a fun little touch that totally fits the dark, intimate ambiance.

Service was great. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and consistently checked on us for refills or anything we needed. She explained the 2-hour dining limit upfront and let us know the main entrée would take about 45 minutes. We had no issues and finished right on time without feeling rushed.

Don’t skip the sides: duck fat fries, truffle mash, Brussels sprouts, and a generous escargot perfect for sharing. The 16oz Nakamura Cut Prime Rib with bone marrow au jus and horseradish cream was juicy, flavorful, and easily fed two, and the leftovers were just as good the next day.

And dessert? Non-negotiable. Mud pie with Oreo crust and two crème brûlées… because one is simply not enough. 🤎✨“

“We opted out of our reservation for the dining room and ate in the bar. Didn't catch the bartender's name but she was wonderful. The Mai Tai was great and our food was delicious. It was a thoroughly enjoyable meal.“

“First of all, this is not our first visit here for me and my husband. But this time we had our 2 kids with us. We walked in on a Father’s Day weekend on a Saturday, expecting no tables for a family of 4. They were able to sit us by the bar. And it was amazing, the food is great we had the MEGAHAWK, oysters, thick-cut bacon, keiki steak plate and very refreshing watermelon sorbet. “I have been a fan of this steak place since it was still $9.99 in Waikiki next to Food Pantry. It’s been, what, 15 years now, and I still eat here. The Ala Moana location is nice, inside Foodland. I can get my poke at Foodland and then come here to eat my steak plate. Just as good as I remember from 15 years ago. The teriyaki sauce here is phenomenal—it’s my favorite teriyaki sauce of all time. The horseradish sauce is also really good. I didn’t really care for the barbecue sauce, so I don’t think I’ll get that again. Maybe I’ll double the teriyaki sauce next time. Love this place.“

“Looking for a place to eat for lunch and came across this place. Didn't know it was a fancy restaurant until we sat down and saw the menu prices. You get what you pay for here and they do have a lunch menu which has reasonable prices. I knew it was fancy the moment we got asked what kind of water we wanted. Good fine dining place for those taking out their significant other or want to experience high end restaurant eating.“
