“Great food --- very big portions. Very friendly service. She had started to close down but still served me food and even helped with the menu (I had no clue what to order). There is no seating as such, but you can go to the iolani palace across the road and if you are lucky can sit on the grass and enjoy the food while a city band is performing. Above all surprisingly cheap for Hawaii.“

“The Zoo itself is a great way to enjoy seeing all the animals, beautiful habitats, creative art and fun facts/history around the zoo! Jess and her co-worker in the Gift Shop were friendly, fun and very helpful! 5/12/25 Each trip to Oahu, there is always a visit to the zoo!“

“IF YOU ARE IN WAIKIKI, YOU MUST GET THIS SUGARCANE JUICE. Ever since we discovered this spot day 1 of our honeymoon, we have been to this place at least once EVERY. DAY. My favorite is #12, and my husband's is #6. It's pressed right then and there, and is $8 a drink! It is absolutely delicious, and I CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!!!“

“We used Teruya's Andagi for my father's service in Feb 2026 and ordered 130 bentos (karaage, garlic chicken, assorted large roll, veggie) and andagi and sweet potato mochi, and all were a hit! The shrimp tempura and garlic chicken large bento roll was the most popular by far! Albert was super-responsive and very professional in my email communications with him and the bentos were delivered on time. I will definitely use Teruya's Andagi in the future and you should, too! Thank you and your staff so much, Albert!“

“The garlic and lemon garlic shrimp was good. The atmosphere of having all the food trucks around several large picnic tables produced a cool ambiance, however, if the wind stops blowing the smell of oil frying is a bit overwhelming. Not in a rush to come back but certainly worth the visit.“

“Visited twice in a span of 3 days. I live 30mins away and it’s the most authentic halal food I’ve had on the island yet. It’s nothing like the belgian or NY street halal variety. Food came out hot and fresh. They hand it to you on the street. If you’re looking for real authentic halal food from the middle east, this is the place.“

IMMEDIATELY)!!! The owner, Sam, is the nicest and sweetest person and she went out of her way to make sure the party platter was able to be transferred safely! The price is also VERY reasonable!! Thank you so much Sam and everyone should definitely order this for their next party or get together!!“

“8-12 at the Kaka'ako Farmers Market!
Tent is near the Joja's burger line. Often sells out so go early!
The mochi is so chewy, with the best rice flavor. There are toppings that are traditional Japanese options, and there are Hawaiian flavors as well!
We enjoyed the classic Kinako (slightly nutty flavor, rich) and vegan and gluten free!! The azuki strawberry was supreme! Extremely filled with azuki!! The Okinawan sweet potato and lilikol are both delicious as well. Only $3 for most of these mochis and they have so many different options and sizes!“

“Stumbled on this place right off base around lunch time. This “shack” is no fast food joint. Everything is made to order, so it takes about 10 mins to get your food after ordering. But the wait is well worth it!
We ordered the pangang curry and Thai boat noodles. Both were flavorful and fresh! For $12-$13 per meal, this was a large helping. I will say, the Thai boat noodles did have some chunks of lemongrass, cloves, and other sneaky flavor bombs that can get intense if you aren’t careful to pick them out.
I will come back again for sure!“

“Was greeted by a kind gentleman behind the counter. He saw us looking and opened up the steam basket to show us more options but wasn't pushing us to by his food. I was already full but decided to get the fried pork dumplings. I'm so glad I did. Omg it was fresh, hot, crispy and the filling tasted just right. This place costs a lot less than where I'm from for dim sum. If I could eat more, I would've ordered more.“

“At 2am after a jet lag flight and a nap in the hotel where you said 15 more minutes at 7pm I’ll wake up turns to waking up at 2am and freaking out you’re hungry, this was the spot to go to. It’s a tiny 5x10 trailer off a side street and honestly it slapped. Kinda pricy but it’s Hawai’i. Service had issues with there payment system. Credit card machine was down but I randomly had enough cash so I was sold on it. They also only offered one soda (sprite) but it was great food I had the Crunchwrap. Definitely recommend“

“This place is a must when going to Ala Moana Center and you are craving grab and go Korean food. For such a small food concession they do offer a lot of variety. It is perfectly laid out to easily spot what you want, order or grab, then pay without sending much time with the whole process. They got such a large assortment of freshly made Korean classics and more. There are little bites such as musubi or kimbap rolls and then there are little KFC - Korean Fried Chicken and even mini salads that you can just pick up on the fly. Need something more heavy, they offer ready made full size Korean bento assortments as well as build your own from the ready made food buffet that they dish out for you based on your picking. The place is very clean, everything freshly prepared and neatly packaged. Service is attentive and move quickly to get you on your way so don't waist your lunch hour standing in line waiting for your food. Check them out, I'm sure you'll find something that you like.“

“my son is a bit of a spring roll connoisseur, and when he found these at the farmers market, he ordered them not once—but twice, morning and afternoon. the creativity behind each roll is incredible, and he said their take on the “in-n-out” was especially epic.“
