“I have been coming to Oahu for more than 15 years, and this was my first visit to Original Roy's. The location was excellent, easy to find, and provided a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The staff treated us like family and made us feel genuinely appreciated as guests. The wait staff was personable, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the evening. They struck the perfect balance between providing excellent service and allowing us to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed or pressured to move on, which is increasingly rare in many restaurants today. They offered several recommendations and shared their personal favorites from both the seafood and meat selections. The only challenge was deciding what to order because every recommendation sounded outstanding and depended entirely on what you were in the mood for that evening. The desserts were exceptional. Both were served warm, required approximately 20–25 minutes to prepare, and were absolutely worth the wait. They provided the perfect ending to an outstanding dining experience. The overall experience reminded me of Jamison's on the North Shore before it closed several years ago. That restaurant was known for its upscale service and welcoming atmosphere, qualities that Original Roy's clearly continues to provide. Overall, this was an excellent dining experience, and I will definitely be returning to try another one of the seafood specialties that were recommended to us.“

“My first time here after seeing them on tv. So glad the worker tied the bag of my 3 plates tightly and that they use strong plastic containers. I took a sharp turn and my bag flipped to the side. My food shifted a little in the container, but at least it didn’t spill out or leak out of the containers. Love the hamburger steak with crispy onions! Omg, the special parmesan chicken was huge!! “Food was authentic tasting Japanese food. Greeted when I got there. Tables were clean. The parking lot is good sized and I found an open stall right away. Most customers seemed like they lived close by since they arrived by foot and not by car. Price was reasonable. The reason for the 5 stars is that my elderly parents loved the food. My mom is a picky eater.“

“the staff is phenomenal, the food is incredible, and the drinks are amazing. Does that give you an indication of how much we love this place? You can find a lot of places that have one or two of the three but it's a rare restaurant that hosts all three in a convenient location. I've not had a single thing on the menu that I wouldn't order again and I've eaten the entire menu except for two entrées, many of them two or three times.“

From the moment I walked in, the customer service was incredible. I was seated right away, and when they noticed I was cold, they even brought me the cutest little scarf they such a thoughtful touch.

“Had a celebration of life at 3660 on the Rise. Coordinator was so easy to work with and gave so much information and was in constant communication. The staff were all so helpful with set up, service, tending to guests and clean up. The food was really good too! Had a heavy appetizer "lunch" and everyone went home filled. The crab and cream cheese won tons, garlic chicken and meatballs were standouts of the line up. Construction was going on on the outside of the building so the view was a little obstructed, but inside the building was well maintained, great temperature, simple A/V set up. Dedicated parking structure with validation made it easy for guests.“

Loved assortment of tempura.
This location had lunch special under $10 for small udon with one tempura.

“I ordered the Shoyu Chicken, I received it fresh and very fast.
As I opened the container, I was shocked by how it beautifully it was presented.
After taking my first bite, I was amazed by how tender and moist the chicken was. Along with the amazing sauce it was coated in.
I’m a world traveler and this is by far the best chicken dish I’ve ever had.

“I only come here for the Pho. The broth is not salty but savory. That's good because other Pho restaurants have you drinking 5 cups of water afterwards. portion size is mid with a few slices of meat and couple meatballs. The portion size will not satisfy a normal adult. I can't say that it's worth it to drop $18 and not be full. It is enough to satisfy the taste buds though.“

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the duck Wellington because, as I understood, it had to be requested when booking the table. But we’ll definitely come back to try that dish too 😊“

On the order: Spaghetti and Adobo Fried Rice.

Got home and was instantly irritated, so this review was going in a totally different direction. Instead of my adobo fried rice, I had a regular fried rice.

Call and they said they said if I can come back they will replace the wrong one. This is where we get back on rails. The adobo fried rice was ready and the said I could keep the regular fried rice.

Haha so went from irritated to happy even if I had to come back. Free food and you have me at hello, haha.

The spaghetti is always on point and the adobo fried rice was packed with flavor. And now I have more fried rice for dinner and lunch later.

They are our homey go to spot right down the road from our house. They have great food and a good size menu.

There is your local plate lunch favorites, burgers, Asian style options, fish, curry, etc etc.
