“Great little Japanese style restaurant in Hawaii. The customer service is spot on. They are all friendly and helpful. My ginger pork stir fry was delicious. I had a piece of the Nori shiso chicken which was very crispy and tasty. I didn’t try my friends ahi katsu but it did look good. We did go early for parking which was good since the lot isn’t very big and full when we left. Just tried the sesame salted buns, great flavor and a must buy.“

The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. Pai is definitely a must-try restaurant. We will definitely be back.“

The crab and cream cheese won tons, garlic chicken and meatballs were standouts of the line up. Construction was going on on the outside of the building so the view was a little obstructed, but inside the building was well maintained, great temperature, simple A/V set up. “A MUST VISIT! I'm writing this review as a repeat customer. I've tried Fumi's when they were in the North Shore and I've tried their food twice now at the Ala Moana location and it's delicious!

I came this time because I really wanted to check out their Garlic Basil Chicken. If anyone has ever had TapEx Taiwanese style popcorn chicken in San Diego, then you will be very pleased with this dish. I love the balance of spice, texture, and smothering their delicious spicy garlic butter shrimp sauce on my rice.

“What a find! Beautiful setting for dinner, near the hotel's pool, spacious seating (indoors, covered, and outdoor), live music on occasion, great service. The food was exceptional.
