Komedokoro M's Reviews
We arrived before 11am. Super small place. The food was amazing. Lots of options. We purchased and ate outside where there was plenty of seating. There is only street paid parking. My husband had to drop us off and circle around a few times before he found parking.
Well priced grab and go onigiris and bentos. They had all the traditional flavors, but I got a salmon cream cheese and it was amazing!
The musubi/onigiri flavors were so good and umami. Feels very authentically Japanese.

Komedokoro M's is a hidden gem serving delicious and fresh food. Their menu includes a variety of onigiri, including mentaiko rice balls, and dishes like Kīlauea and salmon bento. The spicy tuna poke is a popular choice, although it may be sold out quickly. Customers often praise the onigiri and musubi for being very fresh and tasty, with perfectly fluffy rice. Many visitors appreciate the affordable prices, often leaving satisfied for under $30. The shop is small but welcoming, with trays of musubis and bento boxes on display. The rice used in their food is imported from Japan and milled in the store, making it stand out compared to other places. The owner and staff are friendly and always greet customers warmly. A notable feature is the koi pond in front, adding a charming touch to the cozy setting. Customers frequently buy musubi to take on hikes or trips. The pork kakuni & egg is a favorite, with some ordering multiple servings because the pork melts in the mouth. Overall, Komedokoro M's offers a variety of delicious, affordable, and fresh options in a charming, quiet courtyard setting.
