Our dinner at Margotto was excellent. We opted for the a la carte menu and sampled two cold appetizers, two hot appetizers, two pastas, and three entrees. Every dish was delicious, with a few surprising us by how tasty they were. The wagyu tartare, complemented by truffle and egg yolk, was particularly amazing. I chose Margotto Hawaii based on the 2023 ratings. I wanted to treat my friends as a thank you for hosting me while on the island. I was able to make a reservation a few days ahead of time on OpenTable. The restaurant called me the day of to confirm the reservation and ask for the name of the person who's birthday we were also celebrating. It was an experience like none other! We enjoyed tremendously the chef's tasting menu and wine pairing! The service was excellent and the truffles were outstanding! We are so glad we did this. It was pricey but again we were glad we did it!
