“I'm a big fan of Uncle Bo's, so when I heard he opened up a place in Waikīkī, I had to stop by. TPH is on Lewers, just North of Kalākaua. We already had dinner, so we opted for dessert. The taro beignets a la mode hit the spot. They were light & airy, crispy and paired well w/ the Frangelico honey sauce and ice cream. Regarding the ambiance, its tiki bar in here. TPH has a lot of bar food (pupus), that I will have to return for. Our waiter Zach was super nice, and the beignets came out quickly. I think Uncle Bo's has three other places besides TPH. Hats off to him for being a successful restauranteur in a tough market.“
“I'm a fan of tiki drinks, so naturally I was drawn in by the name alone. However, the menu they offered was for the Mexican restaurant next door and included mostly margaritas. I asked if they could do a Mai Tai and the bartender said yes. The Mai Tai was a touristy type, sweet with fruit juice, but also strong and decently balanced. I liked it enough to get a second, and the bartender was super helpful and quick. However, I can't help but be let down there wasn't a list of tiki drinks to choose from, so I can't say it's recommended as a tiki bar despite the name. It's good for a quick drink, but ultimately you're sitting in a food hall and not a cocktail bar so there are definitely better options if that's what you want.“
“Came here just for the fun festivities and the experience and it did not disappoint! If you are still a grinch after walking into this place, you have bigger issues. It could be easily seen as overkill, but I think the wallpaper, lights and garnish hanging from wall to wall is the epitome of the Christmas spirit. Downside was the extremely long wait, however we decided to eat at tikis while we waited and after we were done, they allowed us to skip the line. Drinks were delicious.“
“Great food, great service, great ambiance! Ordered the shrimp with spicy garlic and chicken with teriyaki sauce with all sides. Service was super fast, and the staff was extremely nice and made great conversation and recommendations on what to order. Located inside a hotel on their patio with the pool and jacuzzi. Since we had it for dinner, it was dark outside, and there were lights that were hanging on the patio that made the ambiance that much cozier. Great experience and highly recommend this location for some yummy Hawaiin bbq!“
“We came here for drinks after visiting Pearl Harbor. Our Lyft driver asked if we were locals, since this place is super tucked away. It was a gem - authentic tiki feel, relaxing water views and marina atmosphere, and strong mai tais & margaritas. A quick drive to the airport if you're looking for one last stop.“
“This is a wonderful place to spend the evening after a hectic day sightseeing! The food is good (limited vegetarian options), the service is great and the nightly entertainment is wonderful. Live Hawaiian music and hula dancer in a cozy, intimate atmosphere. We are locals and still enjoy the entertainment and drinks with a few “pupus.”“
“Super fun live band The Oldies and Goodies (I think) Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Service was fast and nice. All servers seemed to just walk the restaurant helping everyone. Outdoor but with big umbrellas covering (mostly) everything. It started drizzling and the mist was a fun addition! We got cheese fries, blue Hawaiian, and the pina colada in the pineapple!“
“Skull and Crown Tiki Bar boasts a laid-back atmosphere with fantastic drinks that perfectly that isn't over the top as most tiki establishments are. The pineapple right-side-up cake was a delightful surprise, adding an extra touch of deliciousness to an already enjoyable experience. This spot is a must-visit for a chill vibe and tasty cocktails in Honolulu.“
