“Our overall experience here was wonderful. From the greeter who sat us, to check out. Also, Gemma was great! So sweet and attentive. All of the staff made our dining experience wonderful here. The food was prepared well. The eggs were done perfectly. And the meal itself was priced right for a touristy area.“
“Love this place. Came in here with some of my friends to study after the coffee shop we were at closed, and I am absolutely coming back. Everyone was so welcoming and kind, the owner (I think) came over and chatted with us about school and made us feel so welcome despite taking up a big table for a few hours. The environment was just so homey, as a college student who came from a small town, this was really the environment I have craved since moving here. LOVE IT AND GET THE FRIED RICE IT IS TOO GOOD!!!!“
“I had some tasty chicken katsu. No public restrooms and very limited outdoor seating at night. The food is good but take it to go and eat somewhere other than the parking lot. It's not a bad choice for one of the few 24 hour food options. It can be sketchy when busy since a lot of odd types hang out there at night.“
“Found this place after my wife searched for feel good atmosphere and food, definitely a hidden gem and am jealous for the residents around that can eat here whenever they want, it’s a good spot to get a home like meal or from those that have departed this world that used to make food like this.“

“Came in there with a $40 gift certificate to use at BCD on my day off. Got sat instantly bcoz it was a little slow around 12pm... on a Tuesday lol. Food is really delicious. Food temperature and portion was perfect! Our server was very knowledgeable and polite and came to check up on us in a timely manner. The ambience seemed cool and very sporty, although I'm not really into watching sports. I'm actually planning to come back again to try out other foods.“

There's an outside dining area as well, with lots of good lighting, so you're not eating in the dark at night!Parking: Located in a neighborhood shopping center, there's plenty of free parking. You might not be directly adjacent to the restaurant, but within a short walk through the parking lot.“
“I have a rule that I live by. Always order the corned beef hash with fried rice. Sometimes living by this rule has left me disappointed. This is not the case at Pancakes and Waffles BLD. Quality corned beef hash, over easy eggs done perfectly, and really good fried rice.Service is quick at 9 AM, staff is friendly, dining room is clean. I’m definitely coming back for more.“

“Past this place a couple of times visiting my sister and knew I had to visit before I headed back to the mainland. Customer service is excellent! Clean and fun atmosphere…throw back to the 50’s that definitely keep your eyes busy. Food was really good and the root beer float I recommend!“
