Big City Diner - Kailua is a standard diner with a welcoming vibe and nice staff. It is a family friendly diner in a strip mall next to Foodland. Only locals seem to be there, but the staff are very friendly. Breakfast was perfectly prepared and delicious. The macadamia nut pancakes are definitely worth a try. Paniolo Chicken Salad and Loco Moco were favorites, and portions were a decent size. Kids meals were awesome. The bacon ham and cheese omelet had bacon that could have been cut up better. An employee demonstrated excellent customer service in resolving a takeout order issue. Refills of drinks are available as much as you like. A highlight is seeing pictures of Denver Broncos players around the bar.
