“Food is really good. Pretty expensive, especially compared with what is around it, and the mall food court atmosphere is an odd setting for a dish you'd normally get at a nice sit-down restaurant. They don't accept cash, and I felt somewhat guilted into tipping during my last visit, which isn't typical for a mall food court, so I don't know if I will be returning for a while. If you don't care about that, then it's a good option for high-quality food in the mall.“

“It’s always a great experience at Tanaka of Tokyo East location! We had a table to ourselves this time which was lovely! We’ve seen the show many times so this was actually a nice change to just enjoy a nice meal. Joe and Eddie were great! Loved Eduard, the manager. Had a nice conversation about the old days when this was located at Kings Village. Thanks again!!“

“Tried its popular Da Original Steak Roll plate that came with 2 scoops of rice and some leafy greens. The roll was made from thinly sliced steak and shredded potato. Combining with its sweet sour soy sauce, this made a delicious lunch. The meat was tender and flavorful, unfortunately there weren’t too much meat in this plate lunch that costed $20.“

Owner is nice and she fixes good food.
Not really much of an ambiance.
Small dining area, with limited tables. However, there was room on the day that I went.
Good choice for Thai food.
Close to both Waikiki and Ala Moana area.“

“Wow perhaps my favorite meal in Oahu. The food is amazing definitely try the pork tama and grilled portabella. The servers and cooks work incredibly fast and efficiently. If you're able to get a counter seat it's a very fun experience

“This is cash only vendor. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. One plate was enough for 2 people. This is also a made to order vendor, and because of the popularity, it will take a while for your food to be ready. I definitely recommend.“

“Great cozy Japanese izakaya at McCully Street Shopping Centre. The food menu was good and had a variety.
Drinks menu were good too. Overall, service was friendly and the servers would help make recommendations for food and drinks. Worth a visit if one has hunger pangs at night as it closes at 1am.“
