Teppanyaki Farmer Reviews
The size of the burrito is huge! A bit too much lettuce, but the meat was still very tasty.
Surprisngly decent garlic shirmp and steak.
I got the steak roll. The meat was awesome, thinly sliced and juicy. I added horseradish. The julienned potatoes were undercooked, however. If you like your potatoes starchy and a tiny bit tough, that's my experience.
Service was great, price was high considering undercooked potatoes. The atmosphere is the food court. Expect it to be busy at lunch.

Teppanyaki Farmer is a popular lunch spot in the Ala Moana area, known for its unique dishes. One standout option is the Da Original Steak Roll, made from thinly sliced steak and shredded potato, served with 2 scoops of rice and some leafy greens. It is topped with a sweet sour soy sauce, making it a delicious lunch. Customers also enjoy the beef or pork roll, which features similar ingredients and is served on a bed of fresh lettuce with crispy garlic chips and ponzu sauce. The restaurant offers other options, including a sandwich and the New York Steak Bowl, praised for its tender, juicy steak over a generous portion of rice. The food is described as fresh, healthyish, and delicious, though prices are slightly higher than other options in the area.
Customers describe Teppanyaki Farmer as a family favorite, often ordering the same dish, such as the Steak Roll with extra garlic chips. The chefs prepare the food right in front of diners, adding to the experience. The atmosphere is lively, with great vibes and delicious food. The Kalbi or Shrimp burrito are also highly recommended for being flavorful and substantial. Located in the Ala Moana Lanai food court, the restaurant has a nearby bathroom and a busy but manageable parking lot. Overall, it is a great little spot for lunch or dinner, where the food is well-seasoned and enjoyable, despite some noting that prices have increased over the years.
