“Delicious food, generous portions, good service. You really should visit if you're hungry in Kaneohe.
You get rice, a protein, and four choices of ban chan (veggie sides like kimchee or cooked bean sprouts).
The ambiance is definitely "greasy spoon", but the food is really good quality, and, since its take out only, you're only there for a few minutes, the dated decor is not really an issue.“

“I go to Bull Kogi anytime I want a huge plate of meat jun. The cook to order so it does take a while to get your order. It's large enough to make three meals for this senior citizen. The one thing I don't like is the paper containers they use ... By the time I get home, the container is soaked with the juices from the bank Chan. Otherwise, it's "a deal"!“

“Food is usually always good! we went there this past week and their pork belly was basically freezer burned so when you cook that it’s almost as tough as leather. Other than that, it was great food and the brisket is always good cut. Service was really good, they always there to check on you and take more orders. Interior could use more decor maybe?“

“Tasty as the name says. All the veggie sides are very tasty and they give you a generous amount. I ordered the bbq chicken and loved it. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant can be improved. But overall very good. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal in Kaneohe side.“

“I ate like crazy!! So there are only two pictures...
There are about ten side dishes and they are all delicious. I ate it without taking a picture haha.
It tastes like a non-irritating side dish.
The soybean paste stew is salty and spicy, not the taste of a meat restaurant.
The simple taste of making it at home without adding ssamjang, my child really enjoyed it even though there was pepper in it.
The seasoned ribs are also delicious. Most of them are not tough and the seasoning is just right.
Please do not cook only on high heat. It was a shame because the delicious meat burned quickly haha.
Jjambbong contains a moderate amount of seafood and has a rich taste.
Jjajang tastes like old-fashioned jjajang, and it’s light and good.
I also added pot rice, which is black rice.
Overall, everything was delicious, and I was very satisfied, perhaps because I live in a neighborhood that doesn't have many Korean restaurants.
The service is also very friendly!!!
The parking lot is conveniently located in the building.“

“I ordered LA galbi + kimchi, and the kimchi was a bit overcooked, just enough to go well with ramen, but it was really good. The LA ribs were really thick and good. There were 6 pieces, and it was a very happy taste. Since I said I came because I was pregnant, they brought me dumplings and pineapple... I definitely plan to go there one more time before I go back.“

“Wow, I went to Hanauma Bay and went to a sushi and rib restaurant run by a Korean owner and ordered assorted raw fish. The tuna, salted fish, and yellowtail were really delicious and I was so happy eating them with Soeju and Kwak. The day before I return, it's amazing. Thank you. It's so delicious.“

“My husband and I found this little gem from Google Map. We had the Galbi plate and bulgogi. They’re super yum. The service though, we’ve never encountered anything like it before. The girl who served us was such a sweetheart! She helped me out with my pain. Top notch with her smile and helpfulness. Thanks so much, girl ?? Best wishes from NZ!“

“This is Korea ㅠㅠ Be sure to eat the beef stew and ribs!! Eat it twice!!! The boss is also very friendly. The food tastes much better than what I ate in Korea. I can't describe this taste. If I lived here, I would eat all 3 meals a day here haha.“
“I am Korean, and was looking for some good kimchi. I was told h Mart's kimchi is okay but banton House is best. So I went there and was pleasantly surprised at some of the offerings they had. This is not a sit-in restaurant. It's simply just a grab-and-go grocer. All different kinds of Korean side dishes and wonderful kimchi. The kimchi is amazing and i would recommend it. Parking is a little tight. The owner is super sweet. Lot of Korean people shop here so that means it's authentic and it's good. They sell large quantities of kimchi in a plastic bag so be prepared, you need a container to put it in.“

“Clean space, nice ambience, great service and solid korean food. You could taste the freshness. Just a little pricey for the amount of food but overall still great. We had the braised kalbi short ribs which was my favorite dish. We did the Combo B and added on Ribeye cap steak. The sides we ordered were the egg souffle and jap chae which were delicous. We will be back.“

“Reposted from @hawaiifoodreviews ????? ?????? (?/?? ?)?????: (? ?) Overall we thought the food at Seoul Kimbap was very good. ???? ?????? $?.?? (?:1) is my favorite Kimbap there. I do wish there was some American Cheese though. That would make it perfect! My wife prefers the Spicy Pork Kimbap. She says the Kimbap is the closest to homemade she's had in Hawaii. The wifey was born and raised in Korea so I'll take her word for it. You also get some fish cake soup with each order of Kimbap. I forgot to take a pic because I was excite to have the ?????? ???? $?.?? (? :2) is one of the wifey's faves. It's rich and hearty but balanced out by lots of kimchee. It is a Kimchi Soup of course!.???????? & ??????????: (? ?) We don't usually rate service for takeout but the service is always so friendly and welcoming we had to. It's like one of those friendly mom & pop shops you see on K-drama..????????: Highly recommended. This is one of those places that just make you feel happy and satisfied. They have no IG but are located in Pioneer Plaza at Fort Street Mall.“

“Their Rabokki was amazing. The garlic shrimp was also pretty good, a bit too crunchy for our liking. The portion sizes are very big so it's good to share. But if you went to try multiple Korean dishes it wouldn't be the best place to. Also not many vegetarian options.“

“Amazing hole-in-the-wall! I saw this restaurant while on the way to my hotel in Waikiki and wanted to try it out just based on the pictures displayed on their window. As my first introduction to Honolulu cuisine, the Frog House did not disappoint! My husband and I ordered soups, and initially, I got food envy watching other customers get dishes for their Korean grill. As soon as the spicy beef and vegetable soup I'd ordered arrived, my envy disappeared completely. I only have a week here, but I know I am going back to enjoy another meal at the Frog House! The only downside to this restaurant is the bathroom was not very clean.“

“Found this place on Reddit for good local recommendations. This is a tiny place where you never go in. You order take out ahead of time or right at the opened door. It seems to be super popular and well known and the award stickers in the window can probably attest to that.
The staff is very kind and the service was quite quick.
We had the kal bee and meat jun combination plate. We had no clue that meat jun was a beef fritter so we were going in blind. Both meats were sweet and were very tasty, but I think I would lean towards the meat jun if I had to only choose one. The sauce dripped into the rice below the meats and even made that taste better. The salads that come with the meal also were given some love instead of just plain cabbage being served.
Overall, my only negative is the place was quite pricy. Yes it’s Hawai’i so the cost is higher than the mainland, yes it short-ribs, but the inflation seems to have hit here pretty hard. Everything else about this place deserves high praise.“

“What a hidden underrated treasure in Oahu! The dumplings were the best I have ever had and I’m Korean! We got the chicken and veggie dumplings before our hike and seriously the dumpling wrapper is revolutionary! Never had such a thick and chewy dumpling wrapper, it was so delicious and the filling perfectly meaty with chives and their soy sauce with spicy peppers! It was perfection. It is cash only so bring cash! They sell in 20 piece or 35 piece to bring home or can be steamed for you! Will come back next time we are back! Already missing it!“

“Good Korean style chicken. Lots of different sauce options. I thought it just had slightly too much breading. I got 10 boneless wings which are considered "half" and it was about $18. Slightly overpriced but that's Hawaii. I would recommend getting something else with the chicken. I got the special sauce and it was good, and it just had a slight kick which was nice. I ordered to go, don't forget to grab the utensils though because it wasn't in the bag.
If you want some Korean Chicken, go check it out. They had some good Korean drinks available too.“

“Don't know if it's authentic, but it sure is delicious!!! Everything we ordered was so yummy and full of flavor. Don't know what I'd choose as a favorite because it was all so good! Tried the cheese corn, mandu, seaweed roll, chicken wings, meat jun, kalbi, and bulgogi. Eyeing out to try the rabboki at the next visit.Went on a Friday night, and it was super busy! There was only one server at the beginning, and he was hustling between the people in the restaurant, answering the phone, and packing take out orders. Understandably, getting some of our items took some time, but they were very apologetic and still very friendly.Looking forward to coming again.“

Our favorites are: Yooncy Special w BBQ chicken, kalbi and BBQ beef plus meat jun. Plus all the Korean veggies and kimchi!!“

“This place is an institution. Been at this location forever. We really enjoy their Yakiniku Seoul Special. There's enough food for at least 3 people, so it's great value! Please note that for the Special, they cook the food, not you. The side dishes are also delicious. The service here was very fast and friendly, even though it was a busy Friday evening.“

“It was ok. Got a mochiko chicken plate since a lot of people seem to have good things to say about it. It was pretty average. The portion size was decent for the price, but the taste wasn’t very memorable. The sides were as expected, except for the kimchee. It was very watery tasting. I tried my friend’s meat jun and that one tasted pretty good. If I ever return again, I would get the meat jun.“

“This place offers great grab and go or made to order Korean food in the Lanai food court in the Ala Moana Center. Normally, I'm not impressed with mall food and especially ethnic foods in the mall, but this place does a good job. It is a more contemporary take on Korean food, but it tastes great and reasonably priced for being in a mall. Their Bibimbap is my favorite made to order dish. It is packed with lots of the usual goodies and they offer brown rice for an healthy option. You can also get the japji noodles instead which I prefer since it adds more contrast and extra flavors that match well to the mix. The grab and go selection offers a wide selection of Korean favorites. Their triangle Korean flavors musubi are and excellent quick bite if you don't want much, but got a hunger you need to calm. There are both spicy and mild assorted fillings. A real winner in their grab and go selection is the KFC rice bowl. Piece of Korean fried chicken that are sauced up on hot rice. I recommend the spicy. It isn't that spicy, but just the right kick. The dish is small, but very filling. Probably would be good for a hangover.“

“I went to Hawaii on a family trip for the first time in 15 years, and unlike before, there were no Korean restaurants! I asked the guide and he told me about this place!
Really, I went to a Korean restaurant after eating Hawaiian food! There is no menu, the soybean paste stew is delicious, and the chicken fried rice and fried shrimp specials are recommended! I remember eating something so delicious that it brought me to tears when I encountered it in another area! The bean sprouts in the soup have the taste and scent of raw bean sprouts, but they are also very good^^ This is a highly recommended restaurant! Leave a menu!“
“Great service.Food was great, some of the best curry I've ever had. The girl at the cashier was the best. She made sure they would modify one of their dishes to not include meat, since I am vegetarian. It was the only restaurant on site who was willing to do it, and with a great attitude.Recommend 10/10.“
“Highly recommend this place because of three things: thickness, balanced flavor, and soft. The meat jun is so soft that my chopsticks cut through with little effort. Kalbi is also soft that you can bite through with little force. The flavor is well balanced with the salty and sweet taste. Lastly, I have never had korean food where the meats were around 1/4" or thicker while still being soft. Price is very reasonable, and they accept credit card payment. A must try!
Parking: Parking stalls are shared with McCully Buffet. Depending on the time that you go, it can get busy, and hard to find parking.“

“Great location right in Moanalua NEX food court.
Service was great at the register and quick in the food prep. The food was 'ono too! Perfect portion sizes, enough to share! Would recommend a combination plate of BBQ chicken and meat jun if you're here.
Seating was readily available as well as parking out front.
Don't have to be military to eat here.“

“Needed to find a new AYCE kbbq place outside of town, and boy does Stadium Camellia not disappoint! We arrived around 545p on a Sunday and needed to wait about 15 mins for a party of 2. Even with an earlier dinner time, the restaurant was packed! Recommend calling in to make a reservation. On just sitting and waiting, we saw 3 servers who were running around taking orders, serving, replace grills, non-stop. Even the owners pitched in here and there to turn around tables or bring out food ingredients. Roomy space with lots of ceiling vents to make it less smoky.
On to the food - the quality of the meats were pretty good. My favorite was the kalbi and garlic pork belly (wowowow was it garlicky ?, sorry for my breath afterwards lol). The servers weren't shy with the portion sizes or checkin in to see if we wanted to place more orders in. For pupus, we had the karaage, mandoo, japchae, and kimchi stew which were all pretty good and came out nice and hot. Next time I'll try some of the fried calamari, as lots of tables had that.
Banchan was placed at the table once seated and were pretty good (and refillable). Be sure to ask for raw garlic and jalapeños to throw on the grill. The closing dessert of samurai blue vanilla ice cream, although super full at that point, was a great close to the meal.
What really won me over was how sharp the scissors were to cut up the meats. It's the little things, cause my pet peeve is when you get blunt scissors that you have to hack through and don't cut - these snipped so smoothly. One con is that they don't serve single diners.
Overall looking forward to our next visit. They have some specials, like birthday, seniors, and military on certain days.“

“As rumored, the cold noodles were delicious!
The soup was like crunchy shaved ice, so cold it was so delicious that I could drink it all.
Pork pancake was like piccata, which is just pork mixed with egg and fried.
If it was a seafood pancake, it would have been like a thinner version of okonomiyaki, so I should have gone with that.“

“This is my GO TO Korean BBQ spot on Oahu. This back alley, cinder block laden restaurant is a no frills spot that serves up some of the best meat selections. Ambiance is rustic, in a Hawaiian sense, and very casual. It can get smoky inside if the place is packed so be prepared to smell like meat and BBQ when you leave. We ordered the Jumolook and pork belly and both were great quality. I love that they provide the sesame oil dipping sauce without mention. All of the sides were very good too and of generous portions.Service is authentic and quick! Don’t expect much unless you’re proficient in Korean, but they’re a lovely staff.“

“Skip the overpriced AYCE places that represent 1/16 of what Koreans eat and come here. The menu is broad and covers (darn near) everything: jjigaes, mandu kuk, dok mandu kuk, soon toobu, kalbi, etc, etc. This is Korean food that a Korean mom would make, assuming she is a great cook. There is plenty of parking and the prices are great. The service was great, she went out of her way to painstakingly give us directions. Hands down the best meal we had while in Oahu.
Parking: You can either park in front of the restaurant or in the Ala Moana Shopping Center“
