“I had such a great experience at 2 Mom Kitchen! The meat jun was tender, & flavorful, and the bibimbap was fresh, & colorful. The lady at the counter welcomed me with such kindness. While it’s not a full sit-down restaurant, there’s a small table with three chairs where you can wait comfortably for your order. And the free street parking makes stopping by so easy. I can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu.“

“I used to come here in the 90’s when I was working with a mechanical contractor and it was one of my favorite place on the island with $2.50 BBQ chicken plate! I heard there was ownership change 2017 or so but I still came back for old times sake. Actually the food was really great quality and delicious. We had the Kalbi which was really savory and had the right amount of fat. The BBQ chicken also delicious but no longer bone in so I missed that a little. The beef soup
Is still excellent! My daughter says they use marrow, I don’t know but I haven’t found that anywhere else. I was happy to see that the awesome historical photos were still there though hidden in a hallway. I was there for the remodel when the benches and photos were put in, maybe 1996? Only major difference was the price, I definitely wouldn’t be able to afford as a daily lunch. But still delicious and really enjoyed. I’ll come again“

My husband picked up dinner for us tonight from Seoul Food here in Wahiawa. We’ve never had a bad meal from here. The portions are as great as the food- I usually give half my plate to my husband because it’s so much. I love the Kalbi plate- super flavorful,tasty and saucy with all white rice. My husband tried something different tonight, the Chicken Katsu plate- crispy, juicy and tender which he said was pretty good. Check out this tasty hole in the wall spot if you haven’t yet. Aloha 🌺“

“Ordered the Mahi katsu. Taste delicious, value for cost, excellent. The plate was just under 14 dollars and there were 4 count um 4 full sized pieces of fish. They have many side dishes to choose from as well. If you are a fish lover, this is the plate you've been looking for.“

“The Kalbi here is amazing, it was deliciously thick and covered in a smoky char flavor that made it irresistible. Seriously an underrated spot. Any trucks nearby, even a few minutes up the road, will skimp on grilled short rib. I was half expecting a super thing piece of meat but wow it was probably the thickest Kalbi I’ve ever had. Would definitely recommend to anyone, the owner deserves all the business he gets!“

“My auntie used to take us here all the time when we had sleep over on weekends because the food is awesome and large portions and affordable. She would order two of the special plates and good enough for the four cousins. The small restaurant is in a 2 story building on the street behind Times Waipahu so parking is not an issue.

Today, the quality and taste stayed the same, with a fully loaded and worth the price. It included a good size strip each of meat jun, kal bi, BBQ chicken, BBQ beef, 4 veggies and rice for under $23, good enough for 2 meals. The owners are lovely and friendly. The kimchi here is authentic. Also the Spicy Beef Soup is fire.“

“This was a recommendation from the men down at the harbor. We ordered the garlic and bbq shrimp to compare to another well known food truck in the same parking lot and we honestly loved HONOS bbq shrimp more. It had wonderful flavor and the shrimp were larger and weren't overly cooked and stayed piping hot and the pricing was better. I know everyone has their own preference so give it a shot.“

“When we did our recent visit to Hawaii I had to try some Korean BBQ. Really good food. I liked the way you could make the different sauces customized to your liking. Hot, sweet, or savory, or even a bit of all five sauces they had.
The area is setup as a food truck area. But the food trucks are permanently installed. Nice outdoor Hawaiian vibe. It's really nice at night.“

“I had the garlic shrimp and kalbi plate. It was super delicious and warming. The ladies in the truck were lovely as well, answering my questions, and giving me extra kambi without me asking!

It was full on raining whilst I was getting my food at around 2pm. So I ate my food in the car, but that didn’t bother me much.“

“I have been going to this place since I was in middle school (mid 2000s) and for good reason, nobody does it better! Staff has recently changed a bit, but because it's still the same friendly service. My go-to is the spicy BBQ pork, but it's all good here and the sides are great too. “This is the 1st time here and tried the bulgogi salad. The portion and price was good but most importantly the taste was excellent. It left me feeling satisfied without feeling bloated. The sauce was good and liked the apple slices to give it some sweetness.

“First time to try this restaurant last night. And i can say that they have an excellent service. I can't count how many times they came and changed our grill. And waiters come often to ask if we want to order more. Food is excellent as well. This is way way better than Gen. Gen sometimes they sat you down but you wont see the waiter until after 30 mins🤣.“

“I've been going here for years and love it in a pinch when my normal haunts are packed or closing aunties make it super fast and the portions are solid. The one thing I'd say I always notice is that the veggies tend to condensate and slightly pool depending on what you get especially the shoyu potato. I guess another is sometimes post Covid I noticed they kinda slow down on the rice depending on when I go. I love heaping rice so I'd definitely want more consistency between visits but none of these are enough to stop me coming back again and again. I'd definitely say it makes my honorable mention for meat jun easy.“
