“The malasadas were really good—not overly sweet. I saw them recommended online, so I made a special stop to try them. To my surprise, the owner was super nice and even gave us an extra one. Really grateful . This little dessert shop is really delicious. Friends passing by should give it a try — definitely worth recommending! This little dessert shop is really delicious. “I am a stickler when it comes to smoked meats and this restaurant is absolutely a staple on the island. Everyone driving the coast should really consider giving this a try. All you need is a whole chicken, cup of dipping juice and something cold to drink.“

“Everything on the menu is onolicious and what makes it even better is the ohana that makes you feel right at home. Well worth the drive from the west side. 😋😉 Don’t forget to pick up a tray of butter mochi too!!“

“I'm a fan of classic boba tea—just black tea, milk, and boba—and this is the best spot I've found so far. I like my tea with just a hint of sweetness and a strong black tea aroma at the finish, and this place delivers exactly that (plus, you can customize the sweetness level). Too often, boba shops focus only on the tapioca and overlook the quality of the tea, but here, both are done right. The tea is rich and flavorful, and the boba have the perfect soft, chewy texture that rounds out the drink. I also appreciate that they open at 10 a.m.—most places don’t open until 11, and I need my caffeine fix in the morning! I've been searching for a great boba tea spot on Oʻahu, and so far, this one really stands out.“

“This place is delish! I get the lechon with double pancit and its enough food for 2 (but everyone wants thier own!) The pancit is the best I have ever had, full of veggies, meat and flavors! The lechon was crispy on the outside, flavorful and juicy inside and cut fresh to order with a tomato and onion slaw that balances all the flavors. An order of the made to order lumpia was the perfect companion. And I can't leave without a kalamansi tea! It's like an Arnold Palmer but perfectly balanced. They have tons of other food that I need to try, but passing up my regular is too hard!“
“Definitely delicious beer. The place was pretty small but had a cozy vibe. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Their prices were normal for Hawaii, but compared to the mainland pretty expensive. Overall if you’re looking for a great craft beer place I’d say they are the best in the area.“

“January 2026: Some workers barely speak and understand English. Depending on who is working the front of house, it may affect your experience and your order. But they are all very friendly. Smoothies are made with fresh fruits, not powder, and you can really taste the difference. The prices are all reasonable for the amount and quality you get. They have two tables that can seat 4 and one table that can seat 6. Otherwise, it's mostly a takeout type of restaurant. It's recommended to stand in line to order even if you're gonna dine-in.“

“Anytime my mom asked, “Do you wanna go get Ayame ramen?” my answer was always, “Yes! YAY, Ayame!” As a kid, this was the first place I ever had ramen that wasn’t from a cup or a packet, and it made a huge impact on my tastebuds and what I’d be open to trying for the rest of my life.
Their curry and ramen are both incredible. I still remember staring at the fish cake, wondering what it was, but loving the flavor and texture, and thinking the bright pink swirl looked so cool. I even started putting chili oil in my ramen at a young age because of this place, I loved the heat and the flavor.
This place left such a lasting impression on me, and I would love to revisit and experience that nostalgia again, especially with my mom. That’s the heart of what makes a great restaurant, when someone loves their food enough to share it, and it becomes part of your memories together.
Wishing your restaurant many blessings and continued good fortune. I hope the families who come in today get to enjoy the ramen as much as I did, because 20 years later, I still remember that first bowl.“

“Good food that is reasonably priced with large portions!
The menu has a ton of things on it and we only tried three things (crab rangoon, asparagus with shrimp, and honey orange chicken). I would definitely get the asparagus with shrimp again, it was so good!
The honey orange chicken lacked much of the orange flavor, but it was decent. We will come back for sure, probably with a bigger group to share lots of things.“

“Impressed by Pan's Kitchen yesterday! I ordered the fresh grilled ahi, and let me tell you, it was incredible. With the first bite you could tell just how fresh it was - perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Just a heads up, there might be small hard time understanding sometimes due to the owner's accent. But be patient, communication works out, and the food is absolutely worth it. Parking can be tricky - it's one of those places we only go to when we see a spot open. We got lucky yesterday with an empty space, but two trucks swooped in as soon as we pulled in! Despite the potential parking hassle, Pan's Kitchen is a hidden gem. Highly recommend it for the incredible ahi (and hopefully a parking spot)!“

“Their Panang curry was amazing! Small business thar deserves big kudos to their authentic taste. The staff are all very friendly, they worked their tails off to the last minute in lunar new years. Everything is ordered fresh, so make sure you get there before dishes run out. They sell out so quick. Going for the chicken satay next time.“

“Delicious food, generous portions, good service. You really should visit if you're hungry in Kaneohe.
You get rice, a protein, and four choices of ban chan (veggie sides like kimchee or cooked bean sprouts).
The ambiance is definitely "greasy spoon", but the food is really good quality, and, since its take out only, you're only there for a few minutes, the dated decor is not really an issue.“

“Great spot if you like building your own pizza! I love how you can customize everything — crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings. The pizza comes out hot and fresh from the oven, and the flavors are really good.
The place is clean, service is friendly, and it’s a nice casual spot to grab a quick meal. Perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner in Kaneohe. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Big City Diner is a great spot for a satisfying breakfast with a relaxed atmosphere. The food is quite good, offering a variety of classic morning dishes that are tasty and well-prepared. Everything feels fresh, and the ingredients seem carefully chosen to start the day right. I also appreciated how clean the restaurant is—tables, floors, and even the counters are spotless, which makes the dining experience pleasant and comfortable.
Service is another highlight. The staff is friendly and efficient, taking orders promptly and serving dishes quickly, so you never feel like you’re waiting too long. Despite being a popular place, the team keeps everything running smoothly.
The space itself is bright and airy, with plenty of natural light and good ventilation, creating a welcoming and open environment. Overall, Big City Diner delivers a solid breakfast experience with good food, quick service, and a clean, spacious setting.“

“The first fish I sampled had me ready to buy two bowls immediately. They told me it was “previously frozen fresh” — I don’t even know how that works, but it didn’t matter because it tasted like it was caught five minutes ago by someone who takes their job very seriously.
Then the lady goes,
“Wait, try this one.”
Me: “…Excuse me?”
Next thing I know, I’m leaving with six different pokes, a spam musubi, and this egg-wrapped poke bite that felt borderline spiritual.
If you’re in the area and you don’t come here?
Shame on you.
Best poke on the island.
Staff = incredible.
Food = unreal.“
