“Deez Bowls was definitely worth the stop! I got the crispy pork belly and steak, and both were really good. The pork belly was crispy on the outside and tender inside. If you’re a pepper lover, you’ll really like the steak — it’s good, but they definitely don’t hold back on the pepper! 😆

They give you a nice full plate with rice, mac salad, greens, and plenty of meat. The rice was a little dry, and I definitely could’ve gone for more mac salad… but looking at that plate, where would they even fit it? 😂

“Zef's Pizza in Kahuku is now a must-stop whenever we're on the North Shore. My friend and I ordered two pizzas the pepperoni and the Three Little Pigs and both were outstanding. The pepperoni was a perfect classic: crispy crust, gooey cheese, and pepperoni that actually had some char and spice to it. The Three Little Pigs, though, was the real showstopper loaded with different pork toppings and so much flavor in every bite that we were fighting over the last slice.

On top of the great food, the service made the whole experience. Joe and Emily took care of us and were both incredibly nice and polite attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and just genuinely warm the whole time. It's the kind of service that makes you want to come back as much as the food does.

Between the pizza and the hospitality from Joe and Emily, this was easily one of the best pizza experiences we've had on Oahu. Highly recommend Zef's Pizza to anyone in or near Kahuku!“

“Ty's Beach Bus is located on the North Shore of Oahu in Kahuku, HI in the food truck village near the Kahuku Sugar Mill. This fun lunch spot, complete with a couple of picnic tables, offers a limited but tasty menu of beach food favorites such as hamburger's, chicken sandwiches and hotdogs. it also offers sweet waffles and churro's. We tried the chicken sandwich and the churro with ice-cream. Both were pretty good. The service was great and the environment cannot be beat.“

“Got the Chicken street taco plate, medium salsa, and it was pretty good, the ultimate judge being my son who ate most of it. Good fresh ingredients, great tortillas and sauce, service was mostly just pointing to a sign to share what you wanted. Of the three places we ate (here, Giovanni’s, and Huli Huli chicken) in this food truck area, I’d call this the best one of the three, would def eat here again.“

“Overpriced smoothies for sure but cannot beat the freshness. Really enjoyed the combo of strawberry, pineapple, and coconut. Such a good blend of real fruit and coconut.

For $5 extra, you can get your smoothie in a pineapple, which is only a couple ounces more but you get five fresh pineapple spears. Also, it’s fun!

“UPDATE: went a 2nd time and was very disappointed. Charged an extra $3 just to change 1 of the tacos to a different protein (in the plate of 3 tacos), and the shrimp tacos didn’t taste nearly as good as last time. They tasted very average
