“We booked Sama Sama for our May 2025 wedding, and cannot say enough amazing things about their business! I had an unexpected issue come up with our initial late night snack vendor, and panicked trying to find another backup option. Thankfully, Sama Sama was quick to come to our rescue and accommodate a boba station and spam musubi for 75 guests. We selected two boba flavors, the Original Milk Tea and Calamansi Green tea, which were both delicious! The Calamansi Green Tea runs a bit on the sweeter side, but I'm sure you could ask for less sweetness if you prefer.

They had unbeatable pricing that included delivery, setup, and breakdown for our venue on the North Shore. So many guests were raving about this, and said the spam musubis were a perfect snack addition for those that drank a lot at the end of the night.

I would absolutely recommend Sama Sama for any catering/events, or even just stopping by to enjoy their full menu at their storefront! I can't wait to come back and try some of their other flavors!“

“This place NEVER disappoints! Not an extensive menu but if you are local or want to eat local they have all the choices you would want. I tried the Portuguese sausage and fried eggs over easy and some of the crispy bacon. Both were so good! It's best that you get there early because when they sell out (and they often do) they shut down. BTW this is a food truck. They're is plenty of parking b/c it's right next to a Costco parking lot.“

“This food truck is in the Ward Harbour area, and I've been there for lunch several times. The food is always delicious. Their chili dishes are excellent, and the tacos they've recently started serving are also fantastic. On this particular visit, I had the Fresh Fish Tacos. They were substantial and had a light, addictive flavor. The Pesto Pasta is also delicious, and the Grilled Short Rib I had as a side was so tender and habit-forming. The sauce is truly the best. If you want to enjoy a casual lunch while soaking up the Hawaiian sun, this is the place to go.“

“We saw this place food truck place on Instagram and noticed, so we decided to check it out. Let me just say, wow. This place is amazing.

We tried the Bonito Smash Plate, which is basically an everything platter, and it easily fed three of us with extra to take home. Everything was so good. Even for a food truck lot, the whole place had a great vibe, the staff was super friendly, and the food really hit the spot.

The go-to move is the garlic shrimp with extra sauce on the rice. Honestly, that combo alone is worth the trip. We also tried the BBQ chicken, smoked meat, and kalbi, and everything was packed with flavor.

We got to meet Mark, the owner, and learned this is a 4 year old family business. Mark even offered to give us extra rice, drinks, and some garlic shrimp to try (which was also absolutely perfectly cooked, plump, juicy and not too sweet of the sauce). We want more people to come visit and enjoy their amazing food, hospitality, and local vibe.“

For 135 guest. Held at Tech Park Mililani. Russel the owner is excellent to worked with. Any questions u have he gets back to u in a timely matter. He follows up and any needed adjustments he follows thru.We picked 5 main entree..noodles..garlic chicken..beef broccoli..shrimp tempura..and rice ..Mac salad..toss salad came with the entrees also included the paper goods. Because I had 135 guest I had free delivery with a server. They set up and breakdown in timely matter. Everyone enjoyed the food. Excellent service..would definitely recommend them“

“The most delicious tacos I’ve had in Hawaii, period. I had one chicken taco and one steak taco. Both tacos came with homemade pico and homemade guacamole, and all the salsas at the open salsa bar are also homemade. You add your own cilantro, onions, salsa, hot sauce, and lemon or lime—everything is there. You can really taste the authentic Mexican flavor that you’re not going to get at some of these other fancy restaurants. I’ve honestly enjoyed these two tacos more than many fine-dining places I’ve eaten at here. I wouldn’t call them childhood memories since I didn’t grow up in Mexico, but they remind me of happy memories from time spent in Mexico.
