Loved this place! Our food was ordered from us ahead of time which was nice because the line was so long. There was a lot of tables on the side of the restaurant so even though it seemed packed there was plenty os seating. The food itself was really good. Super jumbo sized shrimp with a lot of butter garlic sauce. Solid 10/10 meal. I did try a few other garlic shrimp plates around the island and this was my favorite one. Hidden away on the side of the road, this unassuming eatery has big flavors. The garlic butter shrimp was perfectly balanced and the portion was pretty decent. Fairly quick service. Open airy seating.

We ate at Tanaka Kahuka Shrimp as part of our Circle Island tour and I am convinced this has been one of the best meals of our trip so far! I got the Butter Garlic shrimp (I think there were 9 shrimps total!) and my husband got the Tempura Shrimp - the breading is great, he just needed a bit more sauce as the rice was a bit bland. It was overall a very satisfying meal!
