Very overpriced.
A place that charges $2 for a bit of mayo-ketchup for your mofongo doesn't deserve your support. This is the first time I’ve been to a Puerto Rican restaurant where they charge for the mayo-ketchup that usually comes with mofongo. And on top of that, they charge $24 for the dish. When I went, I understood why Puerto Ricans don’t recommend this restaurant. It’s just disrespectful.
Excellent Puertorican cuisine
Great food and service for a taste of Puerto Rico!

Coquito's is a small restaurant that offers Caribbean cuisine with big flavors and a welcoming atmosphere. Many customers find it feels like eating at a friend's house, making it a friendly and cozy spot. The menu includes well-cooked Puerto Rican dishes and a good-sized kids' menu, making it kid-friendly. Visitors often enjoy sharing dishes like empanadas, Pernil plates with gandules rice and sweet plantains, and Cuban sandwiches, all of which are highly praised for their deliciousness. The restaurant allows customers to bring their own beer, adding to the relaxed vibe. Parking is limited with only four spots out front, but the restaurant is accessible with a ramp. Despite its small size, Coquito's is considered by many to serve some of the best Caribbean food on the island, making it a must-visit for those craving authentic flavors. The staff is known for being friendly and the food, including the Mofongo and Tres Leches, is often described as divine. The plantains are a highlight, served in many ways, and the overall experience feels like a hidden gem on the west side of Oahu.
