This is the best restaurant on the west side... A family owned, authentic Puerto Rican restaurant. Fantastic food with great servings and fabulous customer service. This is a must when visiting this side of the island. It is also a must to get dessert!
Too expensive. Great food. A chicken plate with rice, without a drink, two salsas, and a 15% tip will cost you $35. If I had a Coke and gave the minimum tip of 18%, as they prefer, I would spend $42 for lunch. They do not offer a 15% tip option, so I felt like a cheap customer. I understand everything is expensive, and I sympathize with business owners, but I would expect there to be tons of returning customers; otherwise, it is just a once-in-a-while place.

Marine stationed in Kailua here. This is 100% worth the 55min drive, the Tripleta sandwich is the best sandwich I've had in my entire life from any facility. The potato salad was amazing too! Awesome night!

Solid food at Hawaii prices. The shrimp tostones with guacamole were good quality, but they would have been nice hotter; they were warm, not hot. The menu has a lot of meat, specifically pork. They don’t serve alcohol and have Pepsi drinks and a few other options. There’s seating for 10-15 inside and similar space outside. The lot accommodates maybe 5 cars comfortably.

I had the pork chop rice and plantains, it was all cooked to perfection! The service was friendly and they have a nice little outdoor dining spot with plants surrounding. Also indoor seating. Lots of great drinks like the kola champagne india. This place is a gem!

I’v eaten at coguitos restaurant since 2015 and I have to say unfortunately the flavor of the food has definitely changed. One of the items I purchased among other items was the grandule rice and was disappointed to see bacon in the grandule rice. As a Puerto-Rican that’s not what I expected.

Try the Camarones al Ajillo which is garlic shrimp over tostones with balsamic glaze. Chef's kiss!Parking might be limited but they're not crazy busy even on a weekend which is nice. It is also very far from town but a good place to visit after a long day at the beach!Parking: Limited parking that could squeeze around 10 cars only. It's by a busy road so might be an issue if there are no spots available.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that leads up to the restaurant but the platform is wooden so might be slightly bumpy.
