Frida's Hawaii Reviews
Was looking for a place to get tacos in Waipahu. This came up and the food was FRESH, tasty and beautifully plated! This will be a regular spot
This is a hidden gem. Probably the best mexican food I've found in Hawaii.
Fridas is our go to choice for food that tastes authentically Mexican. It’s a smaller place but warm with hospitality and terrific food. My favorites are the fish tacos and the tamales. We always head here after we have been out of the country.

Frida's Hawaii is a small, cozy restaurant serving delicious Mexican cuisine. With a warm and inviting atmosphere, the friendly staff welcome customers to a few tables. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including chimichangas, pastor tacos, and birria tacos, all made with great flavor. The restaurant is BYOB, allowing visitors to bring their own beverages to enjoy with their meal. The chips, salsa, and guacamole are pretty good, and everything is cooked fresh and served hot. Customers praise the attentive staff, who ask about allergies and make thoughtful recommendations. The birria quesadilla is packed with moist and juicy meat, while the fish tacos have a grill/char that adds depth. The carne asada remains fantastic, and their burritos, enchiladas, and desserts bring joy to families. The place exudes a warm, welcoming, and loving atmosphere, clearly showing love in every dish. Many guests drive from town just to experience its Aloha vibe and great food, making it one of the best Mexican spots on the island.
