Wanted to get a quick bite before our excursion and this place blew me away. Told the guy at the front we only had a few minutes and he said that the ribs will be done quickest and in two minutes sure enough they were done. Great service

L&L Hawaiian Barbecue in Honolulu is run by local people, and both owners are friendly and super nice, always showing Aloha Spirit. The food menu is refreshed, and the restaurant is fully renovated, clean, and tidy from kitchen to seat. The posters are designed so cool. The garlic fish is very fresh and tasty, and the BBQ chicken is perfectly grilled with a sweet and savory glaze. The macaroni salad is creamy and classic, and the rice is fluffy. The portions are generous, and the food tastes fresh and flavorful. Garlic shrimp is also yum. The family that runs it are so friendly and make it feel relaxed, giving an aunty/uncle's shop vibe. Service is friendly and efficient, and the food comes out quickly. It is a drive-in and take-out food shop, cash only, with four indoor tables. Nothing fancy, but it is budget and family friendly, located in a strip of small food businesses.
