“I love paradise poke! I love their poke bowls, hella fresh — so good and the portions are heavy so you don’t feel cheated! All flavors are good — the poke nachos, man, that’s my go to! In my opinion best on island! Also, I stop there for breakfast because I think they have the best musubi — I know, I know, just trust me though. Right size tomago, right size spam, enough rice, rice right kind of sticky, and spam marinated to perfection in right kind sauce! Just trust me!“

“They were temporarily closed, but now they’re back with new ownership and an exciting reopening! The menu is easier to navigate, with tons of new original drinks and even more yakiniku options. Definitely worth checking out for the fresh updates!“

“There is seating and you can bring about four or five people per table. There’s also seating outside. It’s a really cool area of dying with family, friends or coworkers and also there is parking lots of parking right behind. It is literally connected within the storage building. literally it is located across McKinley high school’s football field. It is such a jam. They have really good fish there. The ambience is calm. It’s pretty quiet and next-door they have other high-end restaurants. This is a really good area to be in if you want to hang out with people visiting and or just bonding.“

“Although it’s on the higher end concerning price this is the only poke that has stood out to me here. It is more than worth the price, the medium is almost enough for two meals I’d say. I am excited to go back soon. Good seating and the lady taking orders was very nice. There is also parking in the parking structure if there’s none in the front.“

“Small place, but the flow is well thought out. They have different snacks, jerky, deserts and sides that looked delicious. I went there to try their Poke. At first I thought I wouldn't be able to try it, there wasn't much in the display. The young girl explained that they could make a fresh batch of what I decided on. I had their Spicy Ahi on sushi rice, yuzu cucumber with the Unagi sauce, and ginger. The Ahi was actually spicy...loved it! The creaminess and flavor was just right.“

“Hidden gem, I love the sweet potato with the spicy ahi here. I’m from Oahu and haven’t had a favorite poke spot besides places I’ve been on Big Island or Foodland, but this place is an easy favorite. The guys who work here know their stuff haha, you get so much food too and the cost is worth it for the quality.“

“Looking for late night food? Hnl Poke is the spot late night bar food! I got the nachos and steak plate. Nachos was ok I paid a additional $3 for kalua topping. The Steak had good sear and seasoning. In total I spent $30 still cheaper than Zippys“

“The only reason I left off 1 star is because the owner or manager needs to take the time to update the prices on the menu but besides that the food was good. I got Ahi katsu so you can't really mess that up lol but the front register girl Miya was an absolute ray of sunshine. Super sweet and answered all my questions and entertained my small talk. The girls work fast at slicing your fresh sashimi for salads, bowls and bentos. Frying salmon or ahi belly and hamachi Kama. And don’t forget about the laulau with kalua pig and lomi salmon plate. “Food: got the Ashley Don and a bento box that came with 4 Cali rolls, 2 spicy ahi Nigiri, ahi poke, and 2 ikura. Generous cuts of very fresh fish, they dont use frozen fish here. Last time I was here I watched them filet an entire giant ahi on the counter

Service: very attentive, was greeted upon entering, was seated with water and was asked if Id like anything other than water immediately, hot tea is also complimentary.

Atmosphere: clean and bright.

“I went to several great poke places during my trip to Hawaii, and this one was by far the best. The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious. They say they don't use frozen fish, so the tuna sashimi was so fresh and the seasoning was perfect, making it the best. Even my 11-year-old son enjoyed it very much!
The owner, Tommy, was very pleasant and friendly.
I was so sad that I visited on the last day. I definitely recommend it.“

“Excellent sushi, to rival Seattle and Japan. Price is on par with global prices, yes there are cheaper options, but they were open on Friday after 3pm AND the quality is OUTSTANDING. Probably some of the best flavors my wife and I have had (We get sushi every where). The eel, smoked tobiko and the spicy ahi were THE BEST we have had. Compliments to the chef!

“Aloha Bowls and Tea is a food stand style restaurant located in the Hilton Hawaiian Village complex. The poke bowls are pretty good and they also have boba tea and other drinks. The place is a bit pricey but convenient if you are staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel.“

“Found this small restaurant as I walked around the area. Prices have increased from the menu I saw posted on here. Most are three dollars higher. There is a small seating area and I suppose you can eat there but this seems more like an order and go type of place. Food is decent. I found the portions to be spot on. I couldn’t finish my bento box and I took a bite of the poke bowl my wife ordered. Both were good. Fresh stuff. I’d recommend for sure.“

I got the 2 option poke bowl with spicy salmon and ginger scallion ahi. I ordered half rice half greens and he also did half seaweed (ocean salad) and cucumbers. I would definitely recommend!“

Peach lemonade tea was pretty sweet and I was kinda bummed with all the ice. It made it hard to drink the pearls with the ice in the way.
