“Ordered spicy salmon and spicy ahi with sushi rice on DoorDash, and it was honestly top TWO poke places I’ve had so far in Oahu.

I’ve tried multiple Foodlands, I’ve tried the Morning Catch place in Chinatown that was famous on TikTok, and I will say that this place has some really tasty and enjoyable poke.

I also want to add that they add a nice reusable big with the doordash order too.“

“They were temporarily closed, but now they’re back with new ownership and an exciting reopening! The menu is easier to navigate, with tons of new original drinks and even more yakiniku options. Definitely worth checking out for the fresh updates!“

“Holy Moly! First off, the service is exceptional. Was a very warm welcome and quick service.

The Ahi melts in your mouth like a soft pillow of pink meat. It was LOADED with imitation crab. I split this bowl with my wife and both our bellies were left voluptuous. No joke this poke bowl might have cured my PTSD from bad raw fish. I miss this place already and I’m actually still eating right now.

“There is seating and you can bring about four or five people per table. There’s also seating outside. It’s a really cool area of dying with family, friends or coworkers and also there is parking lots of parking right behind. It is literally connected within the storage building. literally it is located across McKinley high school’s football field. It is such a jam. They have really good fish there. The ambience is calm. It’s pretty quiet and next-door they have other high-end restaurants. This is a really good area to be in if you want to hang out with people visiting and or just bonding.“

“I went here after climbing diamondhead, the only reason it’s not five stars is simply because of seating and location , the portions were well sized so you don’t overeat, and the miso was so good even on a hot day. the tuna was fresh and the servers were sweet !“

“I wasn’t expecting to like this place as much as I did. I saw the prices and balked…charging the same price per pound for poke as Fresh Catch, Off the Hook, etc. However…unlike those other places, the poke here actually tastes really good. They have creative flavors like truffle ponzu salmon. Their garlic tare shoyu ahi comes with garlic chips sprinkled on top which is so tasty and addicting. And their spicy ahi poke is actually spicy! Incredible. Plus, they’re constantly making new batches of poke so you know that your fish hasn’t been cooking in the marinade for that long. It’s crazy to me that places like Off the Hook have half-hour long lines while there are no lines at places like this…I guess it’s one of the better kept poke secrets on the island. I’m a Foodland poke fanboy myself…but I’ll definitely come back here.“

“I went here after the Aeia loop trail and was looking for a dog friendly cafe for some coffee. I am SO glad I stopped! Though it was a little difficult to find, The food/coffee was amazing (I got an iced vanilla latte and it was great quality), the service was amazing, the waitress Chelsea was so friendly and kind. I will be coming here again and again and again. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars because I would.“

“I love this place 💕 I fell in love with the torched salmon / creme brulee salmon and i have recommended this place to everyone I know for five years.

I'm not even a seafood/poke fan but this is the only place I like for its freshness, flavor variety, and most of all; torched mayo.

I will bring my visiting Hawaii guests here EVERY TIME! Add in calamansi lemonade for a delicious combo.

Make this your top three poke places to eat at. Every Hawaii visitor has loved this place.

“Looking for late night food? Hnl Poke is the spot late night bar food! I got the nachos and steak plate. Nachos was ok I paid a additional $3 for kalua topping. The Steak had good sear and seasoning. In total I spent $30 still cheaper than Zippys“

“I was suggested to come here for the poke and roast pork by coworker. I'm not into poke so I got the roast pork and char siu in a bowl. I was surprised at how heavy the bowl was, filled to the top! The meat had a lot of flavor and was tender and juicy and good! Definitely worth every penny!The staff was really nice, too, even though they were busy! I can see why my coworker hyped it so much. “I went to several great poke places during my trip to Hawaii, and this one was by far the best. The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious. They say they don't use frozen fish, so the tuna sashimi was so fresh and the seasoning was perfect, making it the best. Even my 11-year-old son enjoyed it very much!
The owner, Tommy, was very pleasant and friendly.
I was so sad that I visited on the last day. I definitely recommend it.“

The unagi avocado bowl was excellent—glazed eel with a nice char, perfectly ripe avocado slices, sesame seeds, and a generous pile of green onion over seasoned rice, plus a solid hit of wasabi. The rolls delivered too: the spicy tuna-style pieces with green onion and tobiko had bright, clean flavors, and the salmon roll topped with crispy bits and sauce had great texture contrast. The fried bites (served with lemon and dipping sauce) were crispy and satisfying as a side.

“This place is where Kuru-kuru used to be. They revamped the place by taking away the conveyor belt and converted it to sit down style.
The food was amazing! We had the bento with the tempura, sushi plate with hamachi, salmon and ordered spicy tuna nigiri (this one was the best). You can also mix & match the sushi.
The fish was fresh and tasty and the tempura was one of the best I've had; the batter was thin and flavorful.
Miso soup was very tasty and the tea is free.

“Found this small restaurant as I walked around the area. Prices have increased from the menu I saw posted on here. Most are three dollars higher. There is a small seating area and I suppose you can eat there but this seems more like an order and go type of place. Food is decent. I found the portions to be spot on. I couldn’t finish my bento box and I took a bite of the poke bowl my wife ordered. Both were good. Fresh stuff. I’d recommend for sure.“

“Aloha Bowls and Tea is a food stand style restaurant located in the Hilton Hawaiian Village complex. The poke bowls are pretty good and they also have boba tea and other drinks. The place is a bit pricey but convenient if you are staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel.“
