“The service and food here is absolutely fantastic! The Prime Rib Loco Moco, is the star of the show. I couldn’t finish, but thoroughly enjoyed, 10 ounces, of Prime Rib, over a bed of rice, with brown gravy, and 2 eggs, over medium, on top. Welcome to perfection on a plate. My friend said the fried chicken, was the best she had ever eaten. Next time, the Nutella pancakes, with banana, or should I get the tres leches, strawberry beignets….They are open 7-3 every day. They offer three different discount discounts Monday through Friday. Military, senior (62) or Early Bird. 7-8am. Be hungry. Enjoy!“

The ahi cigar and triple-smoked salmon were highlights. The interplay of textures, aromas, and contrasting flavor notes throughout the meal was thoughtful and beautifully executed. There is a clear sense of creativity and technical precision behind the food.

One minor refinement: some dishes leave guests to construct their own bites. A more controlled composition could better showcase the chef’s intended balance of flavors and textures. Overall, an inventive, refined, and memorable experience deserving of five stars.“

“We celebrated a big anniversary at Pai and WOW - they made it extra special. We did the four course menu with wine pairings. The service was top notch. The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. Pai is definitely a must-try restaurant. We will definitely be back.“

“A wonderful experience at Maze in Honolulu, largely thanks to the exceptionally warm service, strong flavor and sauce work, and consistently good dishes from beginning to dessert.

What sticks in our mind were the oyster (meaty oyster that didn't feel powdery as some larger ones do, balanced but not overwhlemed by the sauce on top), the basil jook that came with the scallop dish (so well developed), the Washugyu and daikon broth that came with the main.

Also want to compliment the pacing of the meal as we never felt like we were waiting for a long time for any of the dishes. Pretty much perfectly well paced for preferences.

Overall, adding in everything into the experience would not hesitate to come back here again.“

“My husband was in search of some good fish in Waikiki. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. I’m not a seafood person so I got the chicken pasta and he tried snapper for the first time. Both of us were blown away by how tasty everything was. The portions were huge too! Out of all the places we had been to during our trip, this place is at the top. Even as a non fish eater, I loved it! There can be a wait, but it is well worth it. Try it, you’ll love it.“

“This was one of the best meals we had on our Hawaii trip and I wish we couldve returned. We ordered the Shrimp nest appetizer, Mapo tofu, and Banana flower salad. You could really tell everything was prepared with care and the flavors were delightful. I particularly enjoyed the refreshing balance of herbs in the banana flower salad, the warm earthy spice of the Mapo tofu, and the shrimp nest had a crispy outside yet rippy wrapped noodle texture that was so unique! “Used to be a pool hall bar back in the day called Amy's Place. What an interior transformation! Cool to have a vintage tavern in the throngs of Honolulu! We went for Sunday Brunch...the menu is extensive. We are picky eaters. It is rare we had so many items we liked on the menu. We had the lamb sandwich and the crab cake benedict. Both were delicious. So were the roasted potatoes and French fries! We love to eat and have tried nearly every restaurant in the Chinatown/downtown neighborhood. There are few we return to. We will be back and soon. Last but certainly not least the service was wonderful. Sophia has a lovely demeanor and met all our needs.“

“My friend host her husband birthday party today. I've been here 3 other times. Today take top prize on service and foods. The foods was soooo flavorful. From the variety of 4 different salads to main courses and desserts. I could not stop talking about the flavors. Everything was perfectly seasoned. Not too salty, not too sweet, not bland. Just the exact perfect balance. I don't recall even at a 5 stars restaurants with every single items being perfectly seasoned. I ate everything! Except for the almond cookies and gau. “We stayed at the Royal Hawaiian for 8 days. It was a beautiful hotel, and we got breakfast as part of the stay. You have to go within 30 min of opening for breakfast, otherwise a line builds up quickly and it ends up being 1 hr wait. The pink palace pancakes were the recommended and they were superb made with guava. We also got the works omelet, and short rib eggs Benedict, smoked salmon, etc. Everything we had there was very tasty, even the continental breakfast to go was good. Such friendly service staff there in the morning. And also great service at the bar. Ask for a table by the beach to watch the ocean.“

We walked in on a Father’s Day weekend on a Saturday, expecting no tables for a family of 4. They were able to sit us by the bar. And it was amazing, the food is great we had the MEGAHAWK, oysters, thick-cut bacon, keiki steak plate and very refreshing watermelon sorbet. “Could just be a preference, the fish toco where a little dry. Crispy pork, i prefer the vegetables mixed and a little more vinegar bite in the sauce. Garlic fries, again it could just be preference, it just didn't feel like Garlic fries im used to getting. It just wasn't mixed more like melted butter. Poke nachos... it was good just the sauce wasn't that spread out as much. Overall it was good atmosphere. For taste. To each their own.“

“Stopped by LBLE bar twice on our NYE trip to Waikiki.

The 1st time, we stopped by for a drink, waiting for our room. We were able to catch the Saturday afternoon football game on the huge TV, grab HH drinks and some lau lau nachos.

The 2nd visit, we went to watch the week 18 49ers vs Seahawks game, we ordered HH drinks and was able to order from Blake's secret menu! Blake went out of his way to make us a rootbeer float.

The great service from Blake the bartender is what drove us to come back for a 2nd visit. We enjoyed our time spent in LBLE Lounge and will definitely visit again when we are in the area. Shout out to Blake for making our visit enjoyable.

there’s construction to the south of this place as of writing (Oct 2025) so beware of the noise.“

“I'd never been to this establishment before and was surprised at how great it was! There's a nice variety of dishes to choose from on their manu, the service is attentive & friendly, their prices are reasonable, and there's ample free parking. If you go for dinner the sunset views are spectacular! On certain evenings they have local musical groups entertaining diners as well (it can get loud, so request outside dining if you prefer a quieter setting), and membership isn't required for dining. I highly recommend enjoying a lunch or dinner here!“
