Great place for comfort food of ramen and fried rice and gyoza. Owner is really friendly as well.Parking: Can get very busy as times, but going early allowed for lots of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, so no stairs to deal with. Handicap stalls are close to their front door.
Ezogiku in the Waimalu shopping plaza is def not your authentic ramen, it's more like a "fast food" ramen but it's so UNDERRATED!! It's been a favorite since I was a little kid for those quick ramen cravings! The menu is so big you can always find something good! The ankake ramen is my fave!! It's seafood & vegetable (shrimp, fish, ika, cabbage, carrot, shiitake mushroom, etc) in a thick gravy over broth and noodles (ask for it spicy!!) It was a nice change to takeout from here. Haven't gone in years. Both of us were craving for gyoza. I also ordered 2 chicken katsu curry plates (without the curry). Thought I'd be charged less without the curry but it was the same price. I went back a few minutes later to confirm the price. Waitress said there was no lesser charge and asked if I wanted the curry. That was very nice of her.
