“these are the best gluten free waffles we've had! My husband is GF, I am not and both of us LOVED this food! He got their dogs and I got their special for the day. I only wish I had room to get 10 more! Really appreciate a dedicated space so he can feel safe to eat!“

“I meant to write this review a few weeks ago. However, the service was super nice. The two girls working were very inviting. The gelato is super good and creamy and has an almost stretchy consistency. The toasted marshmallow was my fave. Definitely plan on coming again.“

“I had the KC original waffle dogs and ono ono shakes but my favorite is the chili dogs and chili cheese fries. I would recommend that to everyone address is 2065 South King Street and the lady who works there speaks soft but she works by herself and such a nice lady. Come try“

“I grew up eating KC Waffle Dogs and was very happy to have a nostalgic meal after so many years of missing it! This place has a charming quaint atmosphere of a family kitchen and the staff are very friendly to match. You should check out this hidden gem.“

“The Mahi Mahi breakfast plate was phenomenal! Definitely a new favorite for breakfast. The workers here are the sweetest people and are diligent to make sure you have everything you need. The restaurant felt warm and welcoming when we came in. I can’t wait to eat here again!“

“Overall good. The food itself was good, the location was pretty clean for how busy it was. The only issue I had, which is why I dropped 1 star, is when it came to to-go orders. I had placed my order online around 15 minutes prior, and only drove there (as it’s close to my place) when they texted me it was ready. When I went to pickup, they told me it wasn’t ready, and it ended up taking 20 minutes extra. It’s not a big deal, as they were fairly busy, but it was a bit annoying as I would have rather stayed at home until it was ready.“

“Just beware that this place gets a CRAZY amount of orders on weekends and any holidays. You're going to be waiting like 30+ minutes and up to 40 minutes. They say it's because there are so many people making phone orders on those days. So you might as well get a drink or coffee and get ready to be patient. They are a small team and you can see they probably only have like 3 or 4 people cooking. The food is great and it is a nice place to relax and dine-in at. But just know you WILL be waiting a long time on weekends.“

“This restaurant is near Diamondhead and absolutely worth your stop. First of all, they have fresh squeezed orange juice, which is amazing. Second, the portion sizes were excellent for the money – especially considering the cost of a good family meal in Hawaii. The overall food quality was great too.“
