Missed the flavor and atmosphere here, but they only do take out only. My brother was on vacation and passing through, decided to have Curry for lunch. Went for the Pork Katsu curry mild, and my brother had the Chicken Katsu curry spicy. Also had Calpico drinks to wash the meal down. The food and flavor still the same and it's nice to enjoy great food and reminisce about the good old days when this place was busy and crowded.

This WAS one of my ultimate favorite places to go. I’d gladly eat here a couple times a week if my family was up for it.
I’d always get the chicken katsu curry, but they have recently changed to chicken breast for the katsu. The flavor is no longer the same and I don’t find myself feeling in the mood for it now that it is different. I hope they go back to the original.
In addition to the katsu not being the same, the curry itself didn’t seem as flavorful as it seemed in months past. I used to look forward to gobbling down my leftovers later because I just loved it. My last batch of leftovers sat in the fridge and then into the trash.
Staff is always nice and friendly, the sit down section has been closed since Covid, I believe other locations have resumed dine in but this one has not. Spoke to one staff member at the register once who said she doesn’t think they will ever bring back dine in. Disappointing since it isn’t always ideal to eat this type of food on the go.
What once used to be their dining area is stacked with boxes and supplies which makes the place feel cheap.
Maybe I need to drive all the way to Kapolei or town to see if their locations do it better.

Call me biased after eating at this chain over 50 times, but the way the squid is prepared is better than any other establishment. The flavor of the curry is also better. I could eat this every day.

Japan sailors!!! Don’t bother . This place is taking twice your money as they divide the recipe by two. The sauce is extremely watered down.
