The food is pretty good, the waitstaff is decent, and the atmosphere is pleasant. We’re pretty picky about Mexican food since we’re used to California-style cuisine, but I have to say El Charro comes pretty close. I had the Carnitas plate—the meat was a bit on the salty side, and I wish it had been charred a little more and served with a lime slice. Overall, a solid option for flavorful Mexican fare.

Great little spot in Aiea Shopping Center by the bowling alley. We got the parillada which was very good and fed 4 people (with leftovers). Finished with flan and churros, both of which were delicious!

Great Local Mexican Spot!
Our family of five really enjoyed dining here! The restaurant is on the smaller side, but we've never had to wait long for a table, which is a big plus. The food is always fresh, flavorful and authentic - you can tell everything is made with care.
