it's be over a year since we last visited. I had the tanuki udon with braised pork belly. broth came out a little high of medium hot, but the first piece of braised pork was hard and chilled. ie, it came out of fridge and was placed in the broth. by the final piece of pork the meat was softer. flavor did not taste like there was any chili peppers and the broth was not spicy. seems like a new owner or cook. not a lot of udon noodles, guess that's shrinkflation.

My dish was good. The ramen won ton had good size won ton. My other friends dishes wasn't spicy as they like it. The broth for the ramen tan tan was weak in flavor. A hint of sesame oil was tasted but lite in should flavor.

Plenty of ramen choices are available. I had the char sui shoyu. It was tasty however, it did not agree with my stomach. When i do come back to Hawaii, I'll be going someplace different.
