The. Uncles who run it are so sweet; great meat to rice ratio; delicious!

No dine-in within the restaurant, but there are several tables right outside.

The sun and moon with spicy mayo is one of my favourites.

I’ve lived here for 4 years and this is by far my favorite sushi spot on the island! Lots of food and all delicious and fresh. I leave work early to get here before they close because it’s worth it.

Tucked away on the same level as McDonald’s in Aiea, this sushi spot is a place where locals go. It might be easy to miss, but once you find it, you’ll be glad you did. There’s convenient parking, and while there’s no indoor seating, the outdoor tables make for a casual vibe.

Service is impressively quick, and the portion sizes are generous—ordering just one roll can be a lot for one person. If you’re with friends, I highly recommend sharing a few different rolls to get the full experience.

The staff (or possibly the owner) was incredibly kind and helpful. He let me know the fresh ahi was sold out for the day, but offered great suggestions for other rolls to try. Prices are fair, especially considering the portion sizes and Hawaii’s cost of living.

If you’re in the area, this spot is a must-try. Delicious sushi, great service, and a chance to support a small business :)

Today I got to try the Gentleman Roll for $20.95 and it was very tasty and fresh. Also, the worker is very helpful and nice.

A mom-and-pop place underneath Aiea bowling alley. Heard the handmade sushi were good, but I ended up going with a shrimp tempura mix bento. There are couple of other bentos and sushi to choose from. Service was great and they bring out your food. I liked the shrimp tempuras, they didn’t use too much batter and the shrimp was good.
There are couple of tables with seats outside of the shop if you want to eat asap. Parking is limited so you have to park a level below or above and walk.
They take cards, cash, and Apple Pay.

Item: Spicy ahi bowl

Very sweet and kind staff!

Food was worth the price and it tasted good.

Salad dressing could have more flavor.

Personally, I don’t prefer my ahi minced as I feel it takes away from the flavor of the fish. But understand they predominately sell rolls, which explains why it’s minced.
