Good place to eat but it’s a bit overpriced

I ordered thru UberEats as this was my 1st time ordering from this place. I ordered the Crispy Gau Gee (6 pc), Mini plate Chicken Katsu, Mini plate Teriyaki Beef, and the Fried Noodles (Spam and Fishcake). The food was really delicious, and the portions were worth the value. I definitely recommend anyone wanting some local food, order from here.

Newtown's hidden gem for good grinds and a relaxing place to eat. The menu is impressive and the prices are great. If you happen to have your golfing gear with you don't forget to enjoy the driving range after your meal. Highly recommended and off the beaten path!

Our family had ordered a variety of 21 plate lunches for our Mother In Law's 90th birthday party (due to Covid). And this place did not disappoint! We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food! Ordering the food easy, emailed David, he confirmed our order, sent me my total due. On the day of pick up the food was all ready to go at the specified time and everything was accounted for. Thank you and your staff for making our dinner less stressful!

Love this place! Food is always good and fresh and comes out pretty quick! Have frequented here for years. Customer service is always good! Love to see and read the scriptures planted throughout. There is a seating area where you can enjoy your food and watch people practice. There is always lots of open parking. Visited at different days and times and it's always been consistent. Just be aware that their hours may not be as listed on Yelp.

Ordered take out from here for the first time today. The garlic shrimp over fried noodles was a bit oily for me but was delicious! I also tried the char siu and roast pork rice plate. The char sim was a bit too dry but the roast pork was good. Loved the char siu sauce over rice though! I'll be back for the fried noodles and to try some of their other food. I hope the driving range would repave the road soon though... was a rough ride for sure.

It so good. Their Macaroni Salad is the best I've had on the island.

Consistently delicious gourmet "plate lunches"! Catering to the golfers at the Newtown Driving Range, this hole in the wall serves up great food within 10 mins. Call your order in as you wait at the traffic light two blocks away, park and walk-up to the driving range to pick up your food.

first timers today and it did not dissapoint. called in our order which included: crispy gau gee (6piece), ginger fish on shrimp fried rice, C-mix (teri beef + ckn katsu) and teri beef cheeseburger with fries. I was told the food would be ready in 10min (perfect ). there were a few people ahead before me so I did have to wait but it was good people watching looking at the golfers at the driving range. lots of outdoor seating as well but we were just taking out. I didn't have a bag but uncle at the counter was able to put my food in a box. My cheeseburger and fries came with a cutout at the top of the container to prevent fries from getting soggy and it was convenient to grab fries for the ride to give to the kids! everything we ordered I would order again! the teri beef cheeseburger had a thick tasty patty ... a little messy but so good with the thin grilled onions! my fave by far was the teri beef! The meat was so tender. the best part of my experience was the little scripture left on a card board blessing the patrons. such a sweet little gesture

It never disappoints. When I'm looking for that local favorite or just a burger and fries this place hits the spot. I prefer their food over shiros any day. Sorry sad but true. Glad they withstood them pandemic.

My dad treated my wife and I to a take out dinner. I was very impressed with the pics for this place so we had to try it. My dad and wife both chose the ginger chicken and roast pork combo. I got chicken katsu over spam fried rice. Overall, this place was exceptional. A few cons to start: I was disappointed that they no longer sell duck; the Mac salad was decent at best-- kind of a weird flavor; and the ginger sauce lacked the explosive flavor that I'm used to. On the positive, my wife and dad could not stop raving about the roast pork. We've eaten roast pork quite a few times at other places so it means a lot that they loved this place. I loved the texture of the cold chicken and the way it was plated-- it also was delicious. Lastly, the fried rice was AMAZING. So much flavor. Portion size was decent and good customer service. I definitely want to come back here again to try some other dishes.
