I was really surprised how big these are. Not complaining, it's a great value. Then it actually ended up being pretty good. Not the best I've ever had, I mean Jersey Mike's is probably better, but it is certainly better than Subway

I am beyond disgusted and upset. I paid $26 plus tip for a sandwich for my daughter, and it was hands down the nastiest sub we’ve ever had. The first red flag was hearing the microwave open and close repeatedly. Then the employee actually told me our order was ā€œstill in the microwaveā€ the meat, onions, and cheese were all being microwaved. There was no freshness at all, the cheese wasn’t even melted, and there was paper mixed into the sandwich. The final straw was finding hair in the food, which made my daughter vomit shortly after eating it. This wasn’t just bad food, it felt careless and unsanitary. Even Subway prepares their sandwiches fresh, in front of you, on a clean counter. This experience was unacceptable, especially at that price point. I will never return.

I went into the store on 10/4 to pick up an order for my group. The order was not completed according to the instructions when initially placing the order. The sandwiches had to be rewrapped. The woman had to be asked to wrap accordingly she didn't offer to correct it. The three women that were squeezed up to a very small prep counter built for one, two persons at the most began unwrapping the sandwiches. The woman at the register who takes orders and money went to assist. She did not wash her hands nor wear gloves as she began to assist. Then the pen dropped of the floor and one of the girls at the small counter stopped handling the sandwiches bent down to pick up the pen with out taking off the gloves. She picked up the pen and began handling the sandwiches again without a glove change. There appeared to be some disorganization going on at this store and doesnt appear to be equipped with the right hardware to accommodate a clean and sanitary working environment. Sandwich prep should not be out in the store where customers can come in contact with food being prepared without a barrier in place. The group did say the sandwiches were good, but Ohana Subs you can and should do better and address the sanitation concerns.

We got a philly cheese steak and a chicken philly. The chicken philly was cold and the chicken were grilled chicken chunks (wasn't crazy about the seasoning). The steak philly was melted and looked more like a philly. I was disappointed in my sub.

Love this sandwich shop. The service is relatively fast and friendly. The ingredients are always fresh. There is parking right out front in designated lot shared with other businesses.

ā€œBrah… the Bolo Sub is straight-up ono!ā€
No lie — this thing’s got all the meats. Like, if the deli counter threw a party and invited everyone, the Bolo showed up hungry. Fresh bun, saucy in all the right places, and served with that Ohana-style aloha. (Be sure to ask for extra sauce)
You bite in and it’s like, ā€œHo, I not sharing this.ā€
If you like your subs big, bold, and broke da mouth — Bolo’s the one. Mahalo, Ohana Subs. You guys killin’ it.

I don’t like to drop food bombs like this but this place has to be the best Sub sandwich place in Aiea. Locally owned and the ingredients are sourced locally.
So I am very particular with my submarine sandwiches and this place hands down has the tastiest and affordable subs in Aiea. More meat than Subway and they really have soft bread like almost sweet bread texture bit it’s not like heavy bread like Safeway. My meal came down to $13.00 bucks plus gotta say they are fas. I had the Italiano with vinegrette dressing, next time I get peppers and olives and onions on my sandwich. When I come again I’m gonna try their hot sandwiches like the meatballs or the Sicily which has meatballs, Pepperoni and ham. Feed a couple of people with a half order cut in half or the whole family with a full sandwich. I was going to Jersey Mikes but I chose Ohana Sub on a strong recommendation.

One of the best meals I had while on vacation. Staff is fast, kind, very good at their jobs.

Craft sandwiches are their specialty. Call your order in as their periodically take a bit more time than usual. I loved the Scuba Dive (no surprise there), but I think I'll swap ham for turkey w the Zipline next time. I also want to try the hit sub terichix. All are a gr8 deal at about $10-12 (Bolo w all meats, bacon, & avocado is $15.50).

Seriously?! This was 1st time, first experience ordering food from here. BLAH- the two things I despise regarding sandwiches- cold meats & sweet dressing. I thought I’d play it safe & order the Italian sandwich with toasted bread- I overheard one of the employees tell a customer before me, that only the meats are warm, & you would have to request for toasted bread, if you don’t want a cold sandwich. I thought with Italian dressing that it would be savory & salty or vinegary- nope- it was sweet. My sandwich was THE most awful, cold, sweet ā€œsandwichā€ that I’ve ever had. First & last time.

Good food!
Their bread is slightly sweet if you aren't used to that.
Pastrami is a little spicy.
