Haven’t been here in a while. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was awesome. Nice place for a get together. Definitely recommend friends and family here.
Alway god food
The service was exceptional, but the food lacked taste. This restaurant is run by Asians who probably are italians..
We went for lunch on Good Friday and it was not so crowded. Service is great. Food is nice. The setting was not formal and it may pass as a casual setting but not as a casual diner setting thing.
We ordered mozarella in carroza, linguine chicken anchovy olio and chicken portobello. The mozarella and its dip is perfect. The linguine chicken anchovy oil is not salty. The chicken portobello is somewhat on the oily side. But all in all, it was a great food and experience.
I would love to try the other dishes.
Ohh and btw, they did not inform the last call to order. We were planning to order a take out but the kitchen was already closed.
Tried to book a private dinner here for 20. Beautiful private room with a large TV on the wall. The room was available but if we wanted to use the TV there was an additional $475 room fee. I mentioned I could bring my own cables but they said no. So I left.
Still can’t believe they turned away a Tuesday night dining check of~$2,000 over a $475 ‘room fee’ to use a TV.
Food was great, ambiance was perfect. Good place for a first date.
I have been a loyal patron of Paesano Italian Restaurant in Waimalu for many years, and they never fail to impress. I’m updating my review once again to express my continued appreciation for their presence in Pearl City.
Every visit—whether with friends or for a church gathering—has been a success. Their extensive menu, beautiful presentation, and excellent service make each dining experience enjoyable. The owners, manager, and staff always serve with a warm smile, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.
Looking forward to our next visit!
A great place for Italian food for luncheon extensive menu to choose from.

The service was perfect, atmosphere clean and classy. But the food was sub par to what proper Italian dishes should have, which is flavor. I had the seafood combination and my partner the Rigatoni Arrabiata. Both were lacking anything to talk about. Oh, and I would not suggest the fried calamari. It's imitation and has no flavor to it, very disappointed!

Atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. The food we got was too salty and did not taste like Italian dish to us.

Nice Italian option outside of downtown. Lots of free parking. Good for large parties. The menu is large and varied with something for everything. They do not have any kids menu or kids dinnerware though.
Parking: Shared parking lot with other businesses. Lots of available parking even for large parties.
Kid-friendliness: No kids menu or dinnerware options. They do have straws available.

Unfortunately the eggplant in my eggplant and chicken cacciatore dish was not even warm it was cold. It also seemed a bit undercooked - must have been cooked earlier and then reheated for too short of a time in the microwave. Not something that should happen for a $40 dish.

The environment was perfect for date night and the food was delicious. The portion sizes were perfect for me and my husband who has a big appetite. I have no complaints. The service was excellent and the owner was very kind and went out of his way to make accommodate us.

Bland, flavorless food. Horrible service from a waitress who couldn’t stop herself from having an attitude. We wanted to split a check and she raised her voice saying “you should have told me from the beginning” we quickly apologized and told her it wasn’t necessary and that we’d be fine doing one check. She kept stressing it every time she returned to the table and we had to keep telling her it was okay to do just one and that we’d make sure to notify first thing for any “next times”.
The food was tasteless, the bread was hard and almost burnt. The “home made” cheesecake tasted like it sat in a refrigerator uncovered or was previously frozen. So sad to post this review since a lot of my family recommended it - but I would skip. Especially because their prices are higher than some other “similar” spots…but at least the food is good at the other places.
