I love this place. The ladies are so wonderful and helpful. I love all the snacks as well, I can look around for a while having so much choices of snacks and ice cream! This is my go to place and there's Times Supermarket right next door as well. It's a small shop but the Samurai ice cream is huge and if you want they have frozen to go ones as well. Go check it out you won't regret it!

I am so disappointed that I tried to order 125 goody bags and I was told "we are too busy for Christmas." I used to love this place until today. I have never been turned away before. Most businesses would love to make a sale. Not this place. There is one woman that was always helpful to me. Today, 11/18/22 was a different woman who was not Interested in selling me anything due to "shortage of manpower." I even tried to order just 100 bags of green/red popcorn and she said "No" go check our factory!

So many favorite snacks to choose from! My "go to" place for care package goodies for the nephews in college on the mainland. And don't forget the fabulously delicious, refreshing, and unique signature Samurai Sherberts!! A rainbow of flavors and combos! There's always a special "flavor of the day!" And so many choices of pre packed tubs to take home! An excellent omiage treat when visiting family and friends; always received with surprise and delight!! Oh and the freshly popped custom popcorn treats!!! All of this along with the friendly and welcoming staff!! Gotta go! Gotta check it out!!!

Came here because of an IG post and my entire family really enjoyed it. The flavors are good and I just found a new favorite swirl: chocolate and haupia. My picky eater loved it too so it's definitely going to be a regular spot for us from here on out. They also have a lot of snacks available so if you have the munchies it's a great place to be.

This old fashioned snackshop reminiscent of the "Mom and Pop Crack Seed Store" from the 70s/80s in the islands, this one is located in the Aiea Shopping Center. It's convenient to stop by, just off the freeway and to the right past Aiea Elementary/St. ElisabethSchool... if you're heading home from town to the westside. Parking is somewhat convenient, on the bottom level you will only have to walk about a minute or 2 to get to the front door of the business. There is a limit of 5 occupants at a time, it's a covid thing. Every time I walk in there it brings back memories of being a kid again. This location has been at the shopping center since I was in elementary school and that was a long time ago. What I remember them for is their soft serve... it used to be called guriguri which, as I understand originated on the island of Maui. THAT WAS THE BEST snack, and we used to eat a lot of it! Since then it seems the formula has changed and it's not quite the same. I'm not even sure what they call it anymore but it's the main reason I stop by. Small medium or large, the one I have shown is a medium which has started to melt because of the outside heat. Today's flavor was strawberry/ vanilla which it seems is their usual. I tried to snap a picture before the heat set in but I ran a little behind so this picture is drippy. The prices for snacks are a little high but then again everything is expensive nowadays. I say this because I remember going in and being able to spend $20 walk away with a nice selection of snacks. Whereas, $20 might get you 3 small things here nowadays. The service has always been quick and friendly, the quality of snacks and selection are great. If you're ever in the area and feel like picking up some unique snacks, dried fish, dried plum, lemon peel, ginger, moch balls, moon crackers, arare, sweet, sour or li-hing gummies.... fresh popcorn? This is the place!

I didn’t realize that they have their own snacks too!Had to wait for the soft serve so I got a Lychee cup. They even have a family size to take home.

Ok, the soft serve is good. They had strawberry, banana and strawberry banana swirl for options when I came. I tried the swirl and it was tasty. The banana flavor is very artificial and the strawberry is light, but together they taste good. I wouldn't get again, but it was worth trying. I ordered the keiki size which was reasonably priced and very generous. I could only have a few bites, so sadly wasted most of it. It's located right next to Times. There is always plenty of parking in the lot. The actual shop is very small and even though mandates have been lifted, they are still adhering to restrictions; only one person allowed inside at a time and masks required. Totally fine by me. They don't have many other options other than candy and popcorn, but I must say that the popcorn smelled amazing.

I hate to write a poor review (use the review page as a venting avenue) especially for a local business (SUPPORT SMALL-LOCAL BUSINESS!!) but the service I received here really deserves this reviewThe cashier's at the counter were 2 young/teenage boys that were disrespectful and came off as lazy and rude.I hate to judge the whole place on just this one experience but like I said it really was that bad.The soft service/Samurai product itself was delicious and tasty. I loved that there was such a wide range of flavors to choose from. The consistency of the soft serve was perfect.I ordered 5 different flavors to bring to a get together and all flavors were enjoyed greatly . ( My personal favorites are coffee and strawberry vanilla)

I have been coming to Samurai for their infamous soft served ice cream since I was a keiki. Of course to no surprise I make sure to stop by every time I return to the aina to visit family. This is a small store in a shopping center next to Times. They are currently only allowing one person in the store at a time due to covid. They are also following social distancing restrictions by putting placements outside the door for potential lines. Always so delicious! Thank you for bringing ono snacks, popcorn and ice cream for all these years!

Although I haven't visited a lot lately, this spot has been a snack and dessert staple for me since I was a kid. The frozen dessert is between an ice cream and shave ice. They have soft serve (more like ice cream) in limited flavors and the ice cakes (more icey than the soft serve) in various flavors each day. My favorite is the strawberry-vanilla mixed soft serve. They give a lot for their servings, so I always get a keiki size if I'm not sharing it. They also have a lot of local snacks you can purchase while you're there. Because it's in the Aiea shopping center (1st floor), there's plenty of parking. Right now (because of COVID), they only allow one party at a time in the store. So, be sure to pay attention to the signs and who is in there.

Great little snacks shop with very reasonably priced tubs of to-go ice-cream. We got the macadamia coffee and it was delicious!

It was my first time trying the actual soft serve instead of the store-bought ice cakes instead. Unfortunately, they do limit the amount of flavor for soft serve, but the other flavors are already pre-packaged. They also offered plenty of local treats like hurricane popcorn, some lihing goodies, etc. The keiki size is actually a good serving size considering that I shared it with my sister and it was a very hot day. I really love the guri-guri texture and how smooth it is! Something to note is that they only allow one customer/ one family at a time. - Keiki: $3.75 - Small $4.50 - Large $5.25 Will prob come back to try the other soft serve flavors and their other snacks for any cravings!

This place is known for their soft serve guri guri. It's worth the try and very refreshing. They also have ice cream and shave ice and they're like a little crack seed store. The soft serve flavors they usually have is strawberry and blue vanilla. I got the swirl and it was good, it taste better than the samurai they sell in the cups at the stores. I'd recommend for everyone to try Samurai Soft serve at least once.

If you have cash or you significant others card don't bother coming here bc they will not accommodate you. They take cash but will not give you change. Ridiculous. We are on island visiting family. Moved away from Aiea for years and figure we take some samurai goodies home for a snack. Nope. Can't even do that here. Still good but honestly.....Maui No Ka Oi. Go fly there for Guri Guri. They take your payments.
