View is great. Drinks very overpriced. Food mediocre.
Dietary restrictions: Not the place to go if you have food allergies. I set it up ahead of time & it wasn't prepared properly. The banquet manager seemed bothered by it all. Not worth the price.
Parking: It's on a Marine base so have to have proper pass.

If your going for the view it's stellar with an excellent sunset view of Pearl Harbor and Honolulu. The food however was terrible. Mongolian night is a complete rip off at $30.00 a plate the food was over cooked and served cold. You can not order off the regular menu. Felt like we were being served left overs. With only one waitress serving as hostess and serving she was struggling with two tables at 6:00 in the evening. No one finished their plates in our party of six. Not feeling well after eating a small portion of the food, hoping we don't get food poisoning. The bar was only serving shots when we were there.

It would be nice to know that this place is on a military base and only military staff are able to access it.... Would have been nice to know after a 15-minute drive through traffic.
45 minute wait and there was only three parties seated for lunch. 17$ for 3 bites of calamari that taste like it was microwave. Wings were undercooked with blood as well. Sorry I try not to leave bad reviews, but I have to be honest as well. Probably the worst service and food on island. The views are amazing though.

This restaurant is on the Marine Corps base and you cannot get on base and to the restaurant without a military ID. Google maps takes you to a closed side gate. You need to enter through the main gate. This used to be a military club. Now, it is an all ranks facility. The setting is almost second to none. You can sit outside under a huge spreading tree and watch the sun set from one of the highest locations overlooking Pearl Harbor. The panorama of the entire area is spectacular. The menu was limited, but well prepared. Given the setting, we'd have come if all they were serving was hot dogs. They have Mongolian BBQ on Wednesdays. Suspect that would be a hit.

My family and I had lunch at Sunset Lanai at Camp Smith last Wednesday. Danielle gave us an excellent service. The chef Markes is awesome as well! We all enjoyed our food very much. 10/10 will go back there again when I visit.

The strawberry salad was surprisingly good for a place not known for vegan options. Atmosphere will get five stars once construction is complete. Beautiful view of Pearl Harbor. Great service.

Gorgeous views, great service, and tasty food. This is owned by the same people that own the Lanai at Mamala Bay on Hickman, with an almost identical menu. We went on a day with cold rainy weather and practically had the place to ourselves but was told on nice days it's pretty busy and reservations are recommended. We'll definitely be back!

First time here, nice atmosphere, the ambiance was good since it was a night event. Service was very good both at the bar and in restaurant. Tho they ran out of one of the dishes two times the rest was good.

So glad to see this beautiful place back in business (new management and open all week)! The view, especially at sunset is vast and absolutely stunning. I can’t speak to the menu on other nights, but the “Mongolian Grill” fare on Fridays was very disappointing. While it is an all you can eat, they portion out scoops of either breaded shrimp, breaded chicken in sweet and sour sauce or some extremely chewy beef. Plus there’s loads of fried rice or fried noodles. That was it. It was like a buffet of four bad, heavily fried items. They would do better to add a selection of healthy, fresh (non-fried) items to the lineup. I do not recommend this.

Wonderful luncheon and great service. Heard they are no longer in business. Too bad. Hope someone else takes over and they open again.
