Strange location for some of the most delicious brisket, pork belly, and pulled pork on island. If you like BBQ, you won't be disappointed.

This place is very unprofessional. I went in personally to try to book more than two weeks in advance, per their policy. I was told by a young man to fill out paperwork and the manager would get back to me to take the deposit. For whatever reason, the manger is the only person who can take deposits. For weeks, i called and stopped by only to be told the manager was never in and her work hours were 10am-3pm. I stopped by and called during her work hours for days and still she was never there. She got back to me one week before my requested date only to tell me someone else booked. This is by far the most unprofessional way to run a business. The manager, Jenny called me apologizing over and over but an apology doesn't fix unprofessionalism. I would not recommend this place to anyone and if you do want to book, please do it months in advance because that's how long it will take the manager to get back to you to take the deposit.

Located right next to down to earth across from pearlridge mall. They have their own parking in front of the of their entrance. Came in on a Sunday around 3:45pm and there was only a few other groups. Lots of sitting room with benches and umbrellas. It is on a very lush and green course. Bring bug spray as there are mosquitos. It is very pretty with all the trees and a little waterfall with koi fish. It's a cute little course especially for the smaller ones. Took us about an hour or so. They also have food and drinks. Nice little afternoon spot for the family. Prices are very fair and reasonable.

We did not get food as to our party went after dinner. I loved it. The guy in the front seemed a little lost but overall a nice guy . Was not rude or anything. This place is amazing our party ended up not finishing due to closing but it was a blast we will end up coming back to this place !

Discovered a culinary haven at Topics Mini Golf tucked behind Whole Foods in Aiea! ‍ This unexpected gem not only offers a fantastic mini golf experience but also takes your taste buds on a savory journey with their unbeatable Texas-style BBQ. The service here was amazing, with friendly staff ready and excited to answer any questions you may have. 10/10 Our flavor adventure began with the pulled pork sliders served on soft taro buns - a delightful Hawaiian twist! The tenderness of the pork paired with the unique taro flavor was a match made in BBQ heaven. But that's not all - the pulled pork loaded tater tots were a game-changer. Crispy tots generously topped with succulent pulled pork, creating a symphony of textures and tastes in each bite. It's a winning combination that's hard to resist. For the ultimate BBQ indulgence, we opted for the two-meat plate featuring perfectly smoked brisket and pork belly. The meats, slow-cooked for 8-10 hours, achieved a heavenly smokiness that elevated the entire dining experience. When it comes to sauces choose your adventure with their variety of flavors- whether you're a heat seeker with hot sauce, a classic BBQ lover, or prefer a tangy twist from their house-made sauce, they've got you covered. The ambiance, combined with the delectable aroma of the smoking BBQ, creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere that makes every visit memorable. Prices are surprisingly affordable, making it a must-try for both food enthusiasts and mini golf aficionados. Topics Mini Golf isn't just a putt-putt paradise; it's a hidden culinary gem delivering of flavors through their thoughtfully crafted Texas-style BBQ menu. Aiea's best-kept secret is out - the Hawaii bbq scene better watch out because these guys are a force to be reckoned with.

Tropics Mini Golf is a great place for friends/family to hang out or to go on a mini date! They are located behind Down to Earth Pearlridge. You can choose to play 9 or 18 holes. I've never played mini golf before but I went with friends so I didn't know what to expect, but omg I had so much fun!! They also serve Texas style BBQ which I was more excited for! Their meats are smoked and cooked slowly for 8-10 hours using their secret recipe of seasonings which makes them extra tender and yummy! We ordered the brisket plate with mac & cheese as our side and the Hawaiian BBQ dipping sauce, the pulled pork nachos, and the loaded tator tots topped with pulled pork. Everything was delicious and I'm amazed the tator tots stayed pretty crispy even when I brought them home for leftovers. Don't be like me and get too full for dessert, but I definitely want to come back for a refreshing shave ice! Make your reservations online using the link in their bio. General admission fee is $11.45 and kama'aina/military fee is $9.95. NOTE: they are closed on Tues & Wed.

Great mini golf! We went at night and it was nicely lit with great atmosphere. The course was complicated enough to be fun without being frustrating. The man at the counter was super nice and friendly. Would definitely go again and recommend if you looking for something fun to do at night after the beach.

Took our grandkids for a fun activity and get them off their electronics. We had so much fun. Love that they offer a Kamaaina discount too.

Clean and plenty of shade inside. I'm glad they make sure to follow the interval or tee time per group of customers, this ensures that no 2 groups will be crowding 1 course. Great food selection, and there are ample seating areas. We will sure be back again.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon, had looked at tee times prior and seemed empty so we drove the hour drive from our house...once we got there not a person in sight golfing or even waiting but when we tried to ask to pay for a round they said they were completely booked for another 4 hours. There were only going to be 2 of us (my husband or I and our 6 y/o since we also have a baby to chase). Luckily, my 6 y/o didn't cry in front of them but you can bet he cried so hard outside and wondered why they were so mean to not even let us play. We took him somewhere else to spend money to have some fun ..wish I could've supported this local business but after they treated us that rudely I will definitely go somewhere else.

Tropics Mini Golf is located next to the Down to Earth store, in the old Toys R' Us space in across from Pearlridge Center. I've never been to mini golf and we decided it would be a fun thing to try. Works well as a casual date activity. There are 18 holes and the golf course area is 1 1/2 football fields long. I liked that we could choose the color of the gold ball we used. The worker was friendly and explained how everything worked. This is their website, tropicsminigolf.com and you can find them on IG @tropicsminigolf There are a few different admission rates. General, Kama'aina, military, senior, and kids. They offer the venue for parties/ celebrations and larger groups at different package rates. You can book your Tee Time on their website to guarantee your spot. "Scheduling a tee time has become the new normal at TMG. We have been getting a lot of positive feedback and our customers are enjoying their experience more. The best part of the new system, no waiting to play and it won't be crowded when you come. Setting up a tee time is required to play. We recommend scheduling in advance to guarantee your spot before you come. Its highly recommended on the weekends. You can walk in without scheduling ahead also. If you come in without an advanced reservation we will schedule you for the next tee time we have available. We keep some spots open for groups of 2-3. If your group is 2-3 and you come in or call its possible that we could fit you in even if our tee time system online isn't showing an open time."They offer food including Texas BBQ plates (Our meats are cooked slowly onsite for 8-10 hours. We use our own secret recipe of seasonings and the proper combination of hickory and mesquite wood to make the best BBQ on the island), nachos, tater tots and fries, sides, keiki meals, shave ice and ice cream. We didn't try the food so I can't comment, but it's convenient that they offer it here. There are some tables with umbrellas in the front for dining. The trees and plants were a bit overgrown, but they did a really good job of providing shade. We did lose a ball in the bushes but then we found another ball to use, so win win? ;D When it did rain some of the drizzles fell through. Nothing unbearable though but with heavy rain I'm not sure. As you're out in the open here, there's no covering around the holes. Around the first and last hole there is a waterfall that goes into a koi pond. The fishes are bright and colorful. I think it adds to the ambiance. There were areas that could use some fixing up and maintaining, but overall most of it wasn't super run down. For the price and experience, it's not bad.I liked the Tiki Spinners they had at certain holes. You would spin it and follow the directions on where it landed. These kept the game interesting and fun. There was one hole where after spinning the spinner, I was allowed to throw the ball by hand and that got me a hole in one LOL. Ironic as I was joking about bowling with the golf ball earlier.I'd say if you haven't yet, try it out! Have fun golfing :)

This is a nice outdoor activity to do with your ohana! Little gem located in Aiea near Down to Earth. Fun tropical way to do mini golf. Local family owned place that even sells BBQ and shaved ice. It seems popular among locals hosting their parties too. They do offer discounts for Kama'aina. Make sure to get a pencil and paper to keep score. There aren't many mini golf spots on the island, so this was a fun experience. We've been here several times and always been a positive experience. Very reasonable and affordable activity in Hawaii. Would recommend for kids or adults.

Came with a car full of kids. There was literally not a single individual in site besides the couple that walked in directly ahead of us. Worker asks how many we have and then "hmmmmmm" looks around and says sorry we can't take you until 545. Literally an hour and 45 minutes later. Rudely closes the sliding window, shows no care of service and that was it. I have never been to a mini golf space that requires reservations, they definitely were not over filled. The parking has 9 cars in it and is empty, there wasn't a soul in site. The squally when the course is busy you can hear those golfing giggling through the fence, no such noise. I'm not sure the workers realize golf is a rotating sport so if we started someone could start behind us, either way, not only was it unavailable, the staff was rude. The place is run down and doesn't look maintained, but we had high hopes that what it lacked in ambiance it would make up for in fun. Unfortunately not the case. We did sit in the parking lot looking for an alternative for about 15-20 minutes, no other guests arrived so they definitely could've served us. I think it's because we are a local family with kids and the help was white and maybe not up for the idea of a bunch of children on premise.
