Love the interior design, atmosphere and live music. Customer service was outstanding. The menu is just a lot more pricey than expected. not much of a variety for food choices. settled with the chowder soup (believe it or not but you pay $10 for it to come with 3 pcs of breadsticks). But cool vibes.

K..sooo...I really love Hawaiian local food...especially ahi and this was very disappointing. Ordered red wine...it was flat...which then snowballed. Sashimi not fresh but mushy..had to ask for small bowl for Wasabi and shoyu...ordered miso butterfish and dat was ono..mine was seared sesame ahi...that i ordered on the rare side...what is got was....raw ahi with sesame seeds cold and not seared...whaaat? You kidding me...took a bite i have no idea why..but it sucked...no flavor...omg...I was DONE...server was ok...not her fault...but got out of there...no more Uncle's for us!!

Recently took my family to eat at uncle’s a lot has changed on the menu and the food has gotten really shitty, service from staff felt like they are constantly watching you to see if your gonna hurry up and get out, felt like they are pulling plates before you finish, my family ordered their food, crab sandwich, chowder, Miso Butterfish, burger for the kids fries, poke tower trio and some chicken wings. The only good was the fries, chicken wings, poke tower & poke Trio. The rest of the order was cold came to the table late then of course the seared Ahi was the worst. If you’re gonna cook fish make sure you know how to sear some good ahi.especially when your prices are extremely high $390.plus service fee of 85$ I used to love that place now I’m definitely not wasting money to eat there again.. It was once a great place to enjoy some great food now I feel like they just cooking to get paid no love in the food. Dry, cold & sloppy.

Good food bad service
We went for Valentines and was surprisingly not very busy. Our server Malissa seemed overwhelmed though. It took a long time for her to greet us and waters came out before our other beverages which seemed to be a trend. I asked for butter with our appetizer of seafood chowder and breadsticks, the butter didn’t arrive until I got my meal and my partners meal came much later and after I asked about it with the expeditor. Refills seemed to take 10 minutes each, I didn’t time it but it was far from prompt. There not very many tables occupied so I don’t understand what the hang up was.
The food was, in my opinion was incredible! The seafood chowder seemed like it was made in house and had the perfect thickness and flavor, its diced pieces of fish worked very well in the chowder. We got breadsticks since they were out of bread bowls, the breadsticks seemed almost baked to order they were hot and fluffy and perfect texture for dipping in the chowder. I had my first porterhouse that night, 2lb medium rare and was cooked as perfectly as can be which came with decent potatoes and asparagus. This steak was delicious! My partner got blackened fish tacos which were wonderful. The fish was more dense than the fish I’m used to in fish tacos so the two were quite filling and the taco as a whole was well balanced in terms of flavor and texture.
Last of all the atmosphere is a little corny with plastic fish on the wall and other plastic figures.
I would 100% come back here I just would not sit in Malissa’s section again.

Let me start by saying our waitress as well as the general wait staff were amazing. We were seated quickly and given drinks and appetizers promptly after ordering. Their truffle fries are quite good; the large lovely flakes of fresh shaved parmesean they added made us think I was in for a culinary treat. Did I mention our waitress was excellent? The problem here was the food quality of the main entrée and the awful manager afterward. I ordered seared garlic ahi, and my cousin ordered their fish tacos. Both dishes I've had before and loved. But today was an epic fail for cheff at Uncle's. The ahi wasn't seasoned, and the supposed garlic sauce was just cream and capers, negligible flavor. They gave me three pieces of wilted, poorly seasoned asparagus, and a giant mound of white rice. The fish tacos were BLAND! No flavor at all. All I could taste was the cilantro they used as garnished on top. Literally just cilantro, cabbage, charred fish, and tortilla. Then they had the nerve to give me tostitos crispy rounds as a side on my dish to apparently be paired with their boring ass salsa. Now, after my first bite, my heart dropped. I felt the failure roll over my tongue like a failed chardonnay. I was truly disappointed. I felt even worse for my cousin as he was only eating here with me at my suggestion. Betrayed by my memory of great cuisine, I watched him take a single bite and push his plate away. He then called for the waitress and informed her of the unimpressive meal. However, this angel convinced us to take another chance with this restaurant and try the fish blackened and not grilled. Realizing this very well may be the game changer, we sent back the failure and ordered the blackened fish tacos instead. Now we had intended to eat what was brought without incident, but the grind the ruins lunch showed up, without even bothering to introduce herself and plainly ask us to leave. Why? Because, in here opinion, "the blackened fish was the same as the grilled fish," and she didn't want us to send back the food back again. What type of an idiot manager admits she knows the food isn't that good, obviously generic, and lacking in quality. She even, that she dissuaded us from ordering anything else. Hinting, then stating, "You should just go." The unmitigated incompetence exuding from her was palpable. I've never experienced anything like it. The absolute worst part of everything is after the manager left, our waitress returned with our check, apologizing as if she did anything wrong! I paid for my fries and beer and we tipped her as if we finished our full meal so she isn't the one penalized for having poor management. I hope they do better in the future.

Service is nice. Sesame crusted ahi was cooked with zero flavor. Only the sauce on the plate could help a little. When they say medium rare, id say its closer to seared. Fish just was bland as hell. Next lilikoi ribs, slow cooked so it is soft, and then just pour on some bbq sauce. Like overkill it so all you taste is sauce. Sauce is not caramelized on, just basted right on and served. Kind of bad fonish after slow cooking it for hours, especially when its $50 for a half rack size. Lastly, the Lava Flow Panna Cotta, this was the only thing that tasted well made and the cream was delicious. Sorry to say, but the entrees are just horrible and i wouldn't recommend anyone coming here for 40-50 entrees at this quality.

Frequented Uncle’s before the move of the location. The food holds up and was amazing. Miss a few things from the old menu but worth the trip.

We stopped in for lunch wanted to try some local seafood. We had the butter fish and a BLT sandwich with crab meat. Both dishes tasted decent, but serving size was small compared with other eateries here in Oahu. The prices were surprisingly high compared to Waikiki especially for a restaurant in a mid-level mall. The service was friendly and good.
Parking: Make sure you park at the right level.

Exorbitant prices. $46 for a butterfish fillet, scoop of rice, and three asparagus spears is downright robbery. So is $30 for two fish tacos and some chips and salsa. Service was fine, and food was decent, but can’t justify these ridiculous menu prices, even on Oahu. Final insult to injury is the 3% surcharge for credit card transactions. Would not return.

The crab meat in the crab salad was tasty but the serving size was small. I asked for some pepper to put on my salad but it never arrived. I had to ask again. The lettuce/cukes/etc. in the salad were just average, as was the salad dressing. I don't consider this menu item to be a good value.
