I lived in Korea for six years. It’s hard to find that perfect beef and leaf joint you remember from your Sam gyup sal days in Korea, but this place can do it.#1. The staff is great. I enjoy seeing them every time I go.#2. They have the soju, the Korean beer, the makgeolli.#3 The BBQ is on point, the sides are delicious and the kimchi is always great.If someone doesn’t like this place, then they don’t like real Korean food. Plain and simple.
Upon arriving, you are graded with a sign that says you've got 90 minutes before you have to leave. Wasn't busy, and I think we may have went over but at the 90 minute point they did. Did let us know that it was time to go. Service was okay, food was okay as well. I stress okay, and not great. The restaurant was cluttered with chairs stacked up, boxes stacked up along the wall containing food supplies and soft drinks. One member of our group had steak which was plagued...
We accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant when we were looking for a Thai restaurant—good thing they were closed and decided to eat here. I’m glad we did. The lunch plate was good and their japchae was delicious.
