Delicious burgers. Great people working there and the food is awesome. The burgers were all great. Fries aren't really worth it IMO. Under seasoned and just plain. The shakes are awesome. Be prepared to wait. Food takes quite a while to be made. Staff is friendly. But it'll take a lot longer than you think for the food to be ready

Almost everyone born on Kauai has heard of Duane's Ono-Char Burger. Located in Anahola, this hole in a wall gem is known for their world famous cheese, mushrooms and teriyaki burger. You must also order a side of french fries and onions rings. Definitely order a side of tartar and teri-mayo sauce. Both are the perfect accompaniment to their fries. It may be wise to call in advance and place your order as lines and wait times can be a bit lengthy at times. The service here is always excellent and they have a very laid back, small town Kauai type of feeling.

The burgers here are Excellent. High quality beef, prepared the Same way that it was 18 years ago when we first visited. They have a special salty seasoning too made there that is tasty on burgers and fries. Next time I will have the burger with pineapple and several othe Local toppings like Teryaki sauce. We also met the relatively new Owners who are very sweet, and have been on Island for a Long time. This place is a Kauai Tradition.

Nice little burger joint right on the highway. Also used by many local people. The burgers were very tasty and the smell is amazing when you drive past them. Definitely worth a stop for a snack.

I love this place. On our way to the North end of the island, we always stop here for lunch. Where else can you eat with a few friendly chickens walking about and sometimes, a cat or two. Excellent burgers and onion rings. I love this place.
