The cutest fruit stand with exotic fruit for cheap, friendly workers, and a nice seating area with a view. Saw this fruit stand on the side of the road as we were travelling back and forth from Captain Cook. Wanted to stop by and see what kind of fruit they had. We ended up picking up rambutan, papaya, apple banana, ugli fruit, and these cherries that were almost bell pepper-like. The cashier was super sweet and helpful as we browsed and shopped. Didnt get to try their fresh smoothies but I bet those were delicious too.

Pretty good. The smoothies are SWEET. A little too much juice I believe. They are made without ice which is nice. We didn't get any food and I think I'd I were coming back Id get a sandwich and a smoothie as it wouldn't be as sweet tasting with a sandwich. On a hot day this would be refreshing. I'll give it another try if I'm

The people running this little stand are the most awesome folks on the island. The guacamole is outta this world, and the fruit is very fresh.

Delicious smoothies. Number two with the papaya and coconut is very creamy. In the little refrigerator grab a tub of guac and treat yourself to a handmade beeswax soap bar to remember your trip to Hawaii for months after.
All the reviews are focusing on the fruit and smoothies, so I want to address the coffee. When I first arrived on the Big Island, I was skeptical of 100% Kona because of the price. But after reading about it, I wanted to try it. I bought a bag of the Fruit Stand dark roast, and they were kind enough to grind it for me. Got home and brewed a few cups in a mediocre coffee pot. Let me say, it is worth 1000% of the price! Oh man it is delicious. I even left two cups out in the carafe and reheated it in the microwave this morning. Still amazingly better than 99% of the other coffees out there. I will be going back to the Fruit Stand for more before I leave and, if possible, ordering more once back home. Buy their coffee!

SKFS is one of our best memories from our trip to Big Island. They have an excellent rotating variety of fruits from their own farm. Their carrot cake w/ pineapple and macadamia is nothing short of perfection. We had to stop by twice to experience the fruits, smoothies, and cake. Bonus: they have a serene seating area to enjoy!
