The bartender was our server and he was pleasant. We both had mules to drink while a guitar player was playing and singing. My husband had the chicken thighs which were tasty served with rice and sweet potato salad and I had the fried fish tacos which were good yet messy with all the sauce. We enjoyed watching the surfers in the pool for a short time before they closed the pools at 6:30 pm.
I had a chance to checkout the Lookout. Nice restaurant with great views of the beach and surfing trainer at Wai Kai park. The restaurant is nice with open 180 degree view of the area. The staff are great. They greet you as you.come in. There is ample dining and a pretty nice bar which is great for socializing, seeing the views, and watching sporting events. I only had apps.
