Great service and in my opinion, the best banana bread on the island.

The store is cute and has all the little snacks you might need before your trip to Hana or on the way back. Drinks, ice cream, fruit, and baked goods. The Magic Oven cafe beside it is also very good. The empanadas and Turkey sandwich were both very good.

We went here twice after hiking at Twin Falls. The first time we had breakfast burritos and Açaí Bowl. Both were great. The second time we had wood fired pizzas. The dude making the pizzas is a Argentine guy who was trained by an Italian pizza maker. His wood fired oven is a work of art. The pizzas were every bit as good as anything we had in Italy. Highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area.

We spotted this place on our way to hike the falls in Hana. Thought it would be a great place to have lunch after our hike. You absolutely should do this, extensive menu, just added wood-fired pizza. We were greeted with a “buongiorno” and were so surprised to see a lovely Italian man making pizza for us in Maui! We ate his delicious pizza on a shaded picnic table in the most picturesque spot imaginable. Don’t miss out on this experience ?

Fun place for a quick stop while driving to or from the road to Hana. Snacks, drinks, bake goodS, breakfast items and many other things. Also a few tables to sit outside to eat your food or sit and relax.

This is a must stop on the Road To Hana!! In fact, we went back a couple times. In my opinion they had the best food in all of Maui especially since they had a little bit of everything for everyone! They’re empanadas are amazing ? these are like baked dumplings ? and they have the best açaí bowls in the whole island! One of my daughters doesn’t like the taste of Açaí, and they had Pitaya bowls, which is Dragon fruit, and she absolutely loved it! Also, super recommend the smoked salmon bagel or the smoked salmon sandwich we tried both one for breakfast and one for lunch since we came on different occasions and times ? the pork sandwich that we tried as well was also awesome. Wish we could’ve tried all the other sandwiches too! Everything was delicious ?

Stopped off as a pit stop on the road to Hana. Had read about it online and thought it would be cool to get some breakfast. Actually kind of ruined our morning when we had to pay $50 for two coffees and two stuffed croissants. Not sure if they hike the prices up for tourists but it was pretty uncool.. just make sure you check the prices before ordering if you do decide to go. I’d personally just give it a miss or just grab some stuff before you go from the supermarket/ somewhere reasonably priced. There’s also places further around on the way to Hana that seem to charge at a more reasonable price and were super tasty

The true gem of this place is the people. We stayed in Haiku for the first 5 days of our Maui vacation and it was the best. Our VRBO was right down the street from Jaws Country Store and we went every morning. The coffee is the best and latte was perfect (not too sweet). They have amazing empanadas. The store inside sells rad, not kitschy items. The gal inside the store and the guy at the food window were warm, friendly and welcoming. The spot is great to grab something to eat and sit down for a bit. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

We had the most delicious, flaky, lili koi cream-filled croissant EVER. Really cute little store, some local art / jewelry pieces, clean. very pleasant cashier. I will dream about that croissant!! way better than a malasada.

Stopped here on the Road to Hana as it looked interesting but nothing inside was of interest to us unfortunately.

Seems no one has reviewed this place recently. We stopped by on our way back to the airport from Hana. If we’d known it ranked 5th out of 6 places in Haiku, we probably wouldn’t have stopped. Nonetheless, we smelled the smoke from the kitchen and thought we would give it a try. We’re pretty critical diners, and we found the brisket sandwiches to be surprisingly good. While we wouldn’t suggest a detour for this place, if you’re near it when you need a stop, it’s solid.

We arrived on Maui on a Saturday and planned our drive to Hana for Sunday morning, knowing we'd all be up really early. We left our rental home a little after 5am and despite promising my parents a stop for coffee, we kept on driving, as nothing was open yet! Luckily, we saw a sign for this little place and kept an eye out - and were happy to see they were open! My parents both bought coffee and my family purchased canned juices and a loaf of monkey bread. Everything was tasty and appreciated at that time of morning on a Sunday before our long drive!

I love Jaws for its simplicity, flavor-full items, and reliability. It's always good. Smoothies, simple sandwiches, and other items are ordered from a window and you eat at an outdoor picnic or take your food to go. Note that the food prep takes longer than you'd think so don't be in a hurry when you stop here, but do stop.

This is definitely a store for the tourists on the way to Hana. Our tour stopped here for breakfast, which was OK, but nothing more than eggs, rice and bacon that you could easily make at home. The store itself is neat, but very expensive. The back had a neat tree with cool flowers, check out my photo of it.

After biking down Haleakala, my hubby and I stopped at Jaws for lunch. It’s a great, casual spot with outdoor seating. My husband ordered the brisket bon mi and I had the fish tacos. Both dishes were amazing and full of flavor. Plus, they were just the right sized portions... not too much, not too little. The prices were also relatively reasonable. I would definitely recommend Jaws for lunch. Also, it’s a BYOB.
