The Short Rib Hash was a breakfast skillet unlike any I’ve had. It was amazingly good. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. Other breakfasts were nice too - French toast, etc and good coffee.
Nice casual atmosphere; good food & drinks! Husband had chili cheese omelette and I had fried rice!
I sought Breakers out because of the Momentum Generation connection. I loved the setting, the decor, the location (next to a general store too), and the food. The service was really good, we ended up going twice within 3 days. Mahi tacos, chicken pesto sandwich, fries, poke, and more- all of it was great. I traveled 10.5 hours to get to Oahu and sincerely the place did not disappoint. Sucks I didn't see Benji walking around but hey! all good!!
After a long hike at Ka'ena Point we drove to town for lunch. Service was quick, the food was great, and they had a nice beer and cocktail menu. Got to have delicious garlic shrimp without having to eat outside by a food truck, so that was nice. The walls are covered with surfing competition posters, really neat decor.
Average food fair for an average price in Hawaii. The restrooms are terrible. However, the outside surroundings are good. Service is very slow, don't expect good service here.
Best part of this experience was the gecko that visited when we had finished eating (the 2 stars are 100% for that little critter!!). Took an hour and a half and the service was exceptionally slow for being no more busy than they were when we got there. Had to ask multiple times for refills. People who arrived 20 minutes after us got their food before us. The fish tacos had great flavor, so I would recommend them if you don't mind the wait.
Hard to be impressed went I go eat since i love cooking at home and fish tacos is a go to! BUT these fish tacos with the papaya salsa was certainly the best i’ve had!! Mahi mahi grilled added another layer of flavour. Sooo goooood !
Update: today I went to eat again but this time with my family we walked inside and rapidly the waitress came to us and informed us that is a waiting time we agreed to wait in less than 10 minutes she came back and gave us a table she was super friendly and she also were extremely friendly with my kids sha made us feel welcome Mahalo to those two waitresses I will change the 3 starts to 5 starts.Food was ok, came cold potatoes over cooked the Loco Moco was good but was cold too. We had a not so good experience there the person brings the food and had some orders that we did not asked for we told her and she got a bad attitude and said someone get it we told we did not ordered it and she kept saying the same thing. Service was not the best.
A well known location amongst North Shore locals. Staple for good food and good times. Most appreciated by friends and family that have dinner and have social events regularly during the week. Also a recommended place to stage either at the end of a nice beach day or for lunch before excursion deeper into the shoreline.Food is mainstream, bartenders skilled enough to provide any libation of your choice. Visitors welcome and happy to recieve local Intel on other choice spots depending on the season. They have my recommendation.
Excellent bloody Mary! We had the Crab cake eggs Benedict and the macadamia pesto eggs Benedict. Both were great! Service was good as well. The blonde girl mention in a previous review was our waitress and I have no complaints. Very good drinks, food and service. See ya next time!

We stopped for brunch and sat outside. It was a bit of an experience with the geckos but it was fun. The service was adequate and the food was very good for the price. Overall we had a great time.
Thanks for the terrible service, young blond girl with long hair in grey bike shorts. Because of you we had a great meal at North Shore Pizza :) But it's not all your fault. You were just the most rude and dismissive. 3 other people walked passed us as well while we stood by your sign waiting as it told us to. We were the only ones in line and your place was at 30% full at most but you still felt we could not sit for a sec at a multitude of open tables. No worries tho. We did much better and advise others to do the same. Not family or any other kind of friendly.
Manager needs to learn customer service. We had a few simple requests that were flat out denied for no sensible reason. The beer was cool NOT cold and the food was meh at best. The one bright spot was our server Melody. Would not recommend unless you got lost in the jungle for days and this was the first place you found.
Called the Saturday before the Superbowl (Feb 12th) to ask about reservations. We were told no reservations for the day and just to show up. When we arrived there were 2 large tables free. They were reserved for the boss' friends, who didn't show up for at least an hour. Our waitress was very nice, however, the rest of the staff were unwilling to accommodate any of our requests.
Sadly, we recently dined and Breakers and received possibly the worst service of our lives. The waitress ignored us for nearly the entire meal and several times we had to ask the host or other waitresses for help. Even when our waitress did walk by, she never checked on us and almost seemed like she was avoiding eye contact. The food was prepared well but a little bland in terms of flavor. I will say, however, that their fries were excellent.
