The micheladas where okay, food not good, saw a cucharacha in my table.. came for a second time and the dragon fruit marg was okay, Cadillac horrible! In general just come here and grab a beer with chips and salsa and will be great

Not so good anymore. Cholos has kinda fallen off in the last few years. Average food at best and the margaritas, which used to be top notch, are pretty meh... if you get margaritas get them on the rocks. They have to make those by hand so you have a chance of a decent drink. YMMV.

The menu had a lot to offer, a lot of different options but the food was nearly inedible. The rice was dry, the beans were flaky and bone dry, and the meat was remotely flavorless. There were cheap table covers that gave the restaurant a tacky feel. The employees seemed uninterested in helping guests feel welcomed and our waitress failed to check on our family. Out of all of the food we’ve tried in Hawaii, we regret Cholos heavily.

Great Mexican restaurant in the North Shore. The staff here are all great and friendly.

Their dragon fruit margarita was tasty and would love to get it again. The fish are freshly caught and are great as tacos.

They started to do Karaoke on Saturday nights after the restaurant closes for the night. Great place to get a drink afterhours.

This had to be the worst food I've ever tasted and the chicken was so dry and weird tasting I thought maybe they chopped the heads off the chicken that we're walking around there and served it, I hope I don't get the avian flu

Good food...chips don't seem home made, but the salsa is excellent. And I've never tasted such delicious guacamole outside of my home. My chimichanga was pretty good, but my wifes schrimp taco was delicious. Service could be better...it wasn't even busy!

Good, but it was not what I expected. It was not horrible, but this is not a go-to for Mexican food. As a Hispanic raised in Southern California, I'm picky about my Mexican food. People were wonderful and service was good. It was overpriced compared to the MANY food options in the area that served the same tacos. If you're looking for a vibe and fun with alcohol and local stores near by, this is your place.

I’ve been here twice and both times were ok. There is no happy hour but the margaritas are ok. Decently priced, about $11-15.
Service is ok, nice outdoor seating that is dog friendly. Their food is sub par. We ordered and not even 3 minutes later it came out? The chicken taco salad was so bland with not a speck of seasoning. Just a side of ranch and salsa with mostly refried beans that weren’t good.
The carne asada burrito was mostly beans and guacamole - also sub par. I didn’t even eat the salad I was so annoyed at how poorly it was assembled. The bowl fell apart and then stuck to the plate. I don’t think I’ll return.
