I’m from SoCal. This might be great Mexican food in Hawaii, but it’s just OK in the grand scheme of things. I ordered the fish tacos. They fell apart. Tortillas couldn’t hold the filling. Great location though.

Was in the mood for Mexican and had this place recommended to me, so decide to stop by. It’s in a busy area but had no problem finding a seat. The menu has lots of options, but in the end I ended up with the two taco plate and a cheese quesadilla. The tacos came with hard shells, and the meat was chicken and pork. The plate comes with refried beans and rice. Everything was tasty. The quesadilla was cheesy and delicious. They also have all you can eat chips and salsa for $4, and the salsa was a bit spicy, so I was happy. The service was friendly but a tad slow. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would recommend it.

I had been to this location before with better results but I think the menu and ownership may have changed. Chips were very basic and tacos served on hard shells. The upsell on “bottomless chips and salsa” is a money grab.

GREAT experience here - no wait, th service was fast, and all of the staff was very friendly. I got the two tamales plate to share and it was excellent; very large portions. So I've been on the island for 6 days so far in search of The BEST Mai Tai and to date nothing has come close to Mai Tai's here created by Tony. OUTSTANDING - highly recommend this drink!
