Clau y Chui’s Cocina serves true home‑style Mexican comfort food. My partner’s torta was so authentic it reminded him of his grandmother the highest praise possible. My enchiladas were rich, saucy, and perfectly balanced without feeling heavy. Warm vibe, generous portions, and food made with real care. A definite repeat spot. I wish I took a photo.

We recently tried Clau & Chui’s Cocina in Wahiawa and were really impressed. It’s a great spot if you’re craving authentic Mexican food on the island.

The standout for us was the birria burrito—packed with flavor, tender meat, and just the right amount of richness. The side dipping sauces are excellent and really take it to the next level.

You can tell everything is made with care, and the quality really comes through in every bite.

The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it an easy go-to whether you’re dining in or grabbing something to go.

Overall, a fantastic little Mexican spot—we’ll definitely be back.

Food taste was exceptional! 4 stars because price point was little high for quantity BUT quality made up for that. 2 chicken tacos, Mexican rice & refried beans $21; chicken quesadilla $18. Would go back because everything was fresh not processed.
