I live on Oahu, and this is the best burger on the island. Flavorful without being pretentious and too big to fit in your mouth. Sitting outside on a picnic table is the only way to appreciate Hawaii’s laid back atmosphere. Awesome food!

Logged in for the first time in years to post this review and warn others - this was the worst food truck experience I have ever had. Tons of fake positive reviews here. The food was good, but be warned - you will be waiting nearly an hour for your food. It took nearly an hour for them to prepare one burger with fries for us. It was a slow day and I cannot describe how disorganized the staff here is. To make matters worse, they were out of the steak burger that we ordered (and paid for) but didn’t tell us until 30 minutes after we paid and were waiting for our food. After compromising on a mahi mahi sandwich with avocado to substitute, we waited 30 more minutes for the sandwich to come out. Upon finally receiving it, we noticed there was no avocado, and when we asked she went back on her promise and tried to charge us a dollar extra for it. Normally I wouldn’t care about just a dollar, but after stealing an hour of my time, I found this practice to be very….slimy. I’ve been coming to Oahu for years, and have never experienced anything like this place. Stay FAR away from Haleiwa Burgers, unless you want to share the same expression of regret I observed the other waiting families wearing. Save your money (and time) and go to Teddy’s down the street.

This is the best place for burgers we have ever found, ANYWHERE. We flew nearly 5,000 miles and immediately drove to the North Shore just to stop at this place to kick off our vacation. Will visit many times during our stay in Oahu.
